"You guys did great today. Don't forget to practice at least 30 minutes at home with your instrument." Jake said.

"Yeeeepaaa, I love the staccato thing on that piece!" Dian exclaimed.

"Can we go home now?" Ellen asked.

"Absolutely, yes. No more practices for tomorrow. See you all this Wednesday and get dressed properly, okay?" Jake replied.

"Woah. I'm hungry again. Ellen, Kara, Dian! Come with me! Let's eat somewhere, my treat. And Jake, you can come with us too if you want." said Lily.

"GRREEEEAAT. Sure!" Ellen and Dian said with a clapping hands like penguins.

"How about you, Kara?" Lily asked.

"No, thanks. I'm need to go home early. Maybe next time, I promise." I explained.

"Okay, we have to go now. Bye Kara! Mwwwaaah! Take care!" Lily shouted as they went out of the door. She always does that kissing act every time we part ways.

Our practice ended up at 7 pm, we're all set and ready for Wednesday's big event. Everyone else went home except me, my father promised to pick me up after work. My day went out very excellent after I had a perfect score on my Calculus exam, "Wooooh!", I saw Jake today! Which turned out my day to be more beautiful. He smells so good every time we see each other and I can already memorize his scent.

I was on my way to our church's gate where I usually wait for my father, when I saw someone standing of the corner. It was Rick.

"Hey Rick! Why are you still here? I thought you already went home." I said with a gentle voice.

"Oh, Hi Kara." he gave me his short reply.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm good. I heard you practicing, you guys will surely do great this Wednesday."

"I hope so, thanks." and I heard a beeping sound outside, it

was my dad's car. "My father's here, bye!", as I went out through the gate.

"Bye." Rick's short reply.

Wow, that was weird. What's up with that guy? I never knew what's on his mind. I received several missed calls from him the other week, he was running like a freak and bumped into my shoulders last Friday, and now he's acting very different. Weird people are acting very weird these days.

"Hey dad!" I get inside the car and kissed my father on his right cheek.

"Hello sweetie. So, how was your day?" He asked while he start up the car.

"Great! I got a perfect score on my Calculus today and we're all set for Wednesday's performance." I replied.

"Good job, Kara! I'm proud of you." My daddy smiled. "I saw someone inside the church gate, who is it?" As he asked and turned the car to the right.

"It was Rick, Dad." I said

"Oh, what was he doing there? Is he courting you sweetie?" My father looked at me and wondered.

"Whhhhaaaaatt?! No daddy! He waaaas just, he was just, I don't know. He just came there out of nowhere."

"Chill out my child, I was just asking you."

"I'm sorry dad. And no, he's not courting me." And I noded my face down.

"Okay, Rick is a good guy though. I would probably say yes if he courts you." He laughed.

"Daddy! Stop it." My dad never knew that Rick was mean to me. But as I observed, yeah Rick was a gentleman to others. But not for me. He was just soooo ANNOYING.

"Hahaha. I was just kidding, we're here sweetie! Now go inside the house and tell your mother about your good news." He said.
