'Mommy?' Nehemiah said.
'Are you alright sweetie?' Aelin asked sitting up and opening her eyes. They seemed to be in some sort of bedroom.
'Yes mommy, where are we?' Nehemiah asked but someone knocked on the door before Aelin could answer.
'Hi, I'm Bryce.' Said a female with red hair.
'Where are we?' Aelin asked.
'You're in my apartment in crescent city. What are your names?' Bryce asked.
'There was a female and her son with us, are they here too?' Aelin asked.
'Oh yeah they are still unconscious.' Bryce said now frowning.
'I'm Lillian and that's my daughter Nehemiah, the female is Feyre and the boy is Nyx.' Aelin said. 'Where are they?'
'They are in the other room.' Bryce said. 'I can take you to them. Are you alright? You all fell from quite a height.' Bryce said a little worried.
'Yes we are fine.' Aelin said getting up Nehemiah quickly followed and took her mother's hand.
'You are friends with that female?' Bryce asked leading them to her room where the Feyre and Nyx were.
'Yes.'
Nehemiah jumped onto Nyx's side of the bed as soon as Bryce opened the door. 'Get up!' She practically yelled at him and Nyx and Feyre opened their eyes.
'Are you alright?' Feyre asked sitting up.
'Yes, mommy.' Nyx said and Feyre looked at Aelin.
'We are all fine.' She assured her.
'Would you like something to eat?' Bryce offered.
'Yes, please.' Aelin said almost immediately. Feyre laughed.
'Well if you want to eat then you're definitely fine.' Feyre said. Bryce frowned.
'Mommy eats a lot.' Nehemiah explained. 'But daddy says that all warriors eat a lot.'
'Warriors?' Bryce asked.
'Two wars, sixteen battles and hundred and seventy two duals. All won.' Aelin explained. Bryce blinked several times.
'You must be a really good sharpshooter then.'
'Sharpshooter?' Aelin asked.
'Yeah you know, a really good shot with a gun?' Bryce said.
'A gun?' Aelin asked.
'Yeah one of those.' Said a male voice coming from behind Bryce. The male came into the room with what Aelin assumed was the gun.
'Oh no Aunti can kill anyone without any weapons.' Nyx said.
'Yeah this one time mommy beat this man in a dual that was thrice her size WHILE POISONED AND WITHOUT A WEAPON WHILE HE HAD A SWORD.' Nehemiah said. Bryce and the male looked at Aelin their jaws hanging slightly open. Aelin only shrugged.
'You actually did that?' Bryce asked still in shock.
'What's the tattoo on your wrist?' Aelin asked the male. He slightly hid the tattoo.
'I was a slave.' He said looking a little down.
'For how long?' Aelin asked and she saw Bryce getting angry.
'A few centuries.'
'Almost eleven years since I was eight.' Aelin said pulling her sleeves up to show him her scars from the shackles. 'Well I guess I was free for a few days when I was sixteen but my former master betrayed me and I was put into slavery for someone else.'
'How did you buy your freedom then?' The male asked.
'I did a lot of terrible things.' She said.
'One of my masters offered me freedom if I killed for him enough people.' The male said. Aelin smiled at him it was one that said she understood and didn't judge him.
'I killed for my first master. That's why am so good at it. He said that I was either the best out of all that worked for him or... well I think you know.' She said.
'Is he...' Bryce started, then paused and cleared her throat. 'Is...'
'Is he Nehemiah's father?' Aelin asked smiling sadly. 'No my husband who was also a slave for over a century is her father.'
'The wars?'  Bryce asked.
'I killed my last master and gathered an army big enough to free all the slaves.' Aelin said. Bryce and the male frowned.
'In case you have not figured it out yet we are from a different world.' Aelin said a little amused by the faces Bryce and the male made now. 'I'm sorry I don't know your name.'
'Hunt.' The male said.
'Lillian, Nehemiah, Nyx and Feyre.' Aelin said pointing to the others as she said their names.
'Is Lillian your real name?' Hunt asked her.
'I was a slave. In  my world very few salves ever got the privilege of having a name. So I guess that technically I'm nameless.'
