The Witch and The Towns girl

Chapter one The start of it

"Dad ware is my bag I need to get to work! And I can't find it anywhere if I am late again I am so fired" I yelled to my dad as I was searching thew everything to find my bag.

"In the kitchen April you put it her last night   saying how you will not forget it" he said picking it up from my chair and holding it

"Thanks dad I love you" I said well grabbing it from my dads hand "I paused at the door and looked over to the small painting of my mom "I love you to mom" I said as a blew a kiss to the painting and ran out the door

I said running thew the town square pulling up water from the well in a bucket and rushing to the bakery "EGGS" I yelled "no it's fine I can check in then go back out" I said as I kept running trying not to spill the water

I paused looking in front of me. Right in front of me a fox she was white with on the end of her tail and a crescent moon which was also blue. "She looks to pretty" I smiled and walked over to it and put out my hand I kneeled down. "Hello your so pretty" the fox moved closer and sniffed my hand and walked over to my bag witch was open. And put her nose it. I picked her up and smiled "you are coming to work with me I said as a put her in my bag with her tail sticking out.

I turned my head the bakery was right there  I walked on and put my name on the peace of paper showing that I am at work "what time is it" I looked out the window to check 10:39 "shoot"

"Your late... Again" my boss said behind me

"I'm not that late only 39 minutes" I said

"You haven't written the time on so now 40 minutes"

"Oh" I turned around and quickly wrote 10:40 "see not that late only 10 minutes" I said with a smile

"But your still late whatever put on your apron on get baking" she said as she turned to the counter "hurry up April"

just then a girl witch a black cat and a witch hat came in I froze and turned to look at her. She pushes her black hair to her shoulder and and looks at me giving me a dirty look her Blue eyes struck thew me I slowly walked to the back

"Give me 2 loafs of bread" she look at my boss

"Sorry this morning our baker didn't get here till late and we didn't have enough time so if you could wait"

"I need that bread now" her cat walked around her owners ankles

"I'm sorry your a witch we are not going to speed up our process for you" my boss said with a smug look on her face

"Hay boss girl how about I take the counter today and you can bake" I smiled and look at her

"Fine" fine she said as she walked to the back

"Hi" I walked up to the counter "it will be a few minutes a just needs to go finish baking I said smiling and looking around nervously

Just then my bag fell and a little blue and white friend walked out of the bag and walked over to me.

"Who's that" the witch said

"Oh I actually don't have a name for her" I said the witch bent down and picked up her cat

"This is fall" the witch said I smiled and laughed a bit. She looked at me confused

"Sorry I'm not laughing at you or the cat my name is April and I just thought that was Funny like fall April oh I could name her frosty" the witch looked at me and smiled

"That is kinda funny I'm echo doesn't fit the theme" she laughed again we looked at each other and smiled

"No loafs of bread" here you go my boss tossed the loafs to me

"Here" I spined around and gave it to her

As she walked out the door she turned around and looked at me "I live not to far into the forest if you ever wanna swing by" she walked out holding the door for her cat and shutting it.

"What's that" my boss said as she was leaning on the door frame and pointing to frosty

"Oh this is my new p... Friend" I looked down at her

"Animals aren't allowed behind the counter" my boss said

I picked her up and put her just on the other side with and got some water in bowl for her

"Sorry little buddy I don't have much to give you to play with tomorrow I will" I smiled at her

my boss started putting more stuff out in the show case muffins, bread, cookies, and a whole bunch of other yummy treat

Time skip till 8pm

My boss had left at this point I was cleaning up. In the back when I heard the bell on the door ring

"Sorry we are closed!" I yelled out mopping the floor I pushed the door open with my back to check if the person was still there.
"Huh weird I didn't here to bell ring again" I looked around and locked the windows "hello is anyone here"

"Yes actually" a voice from behind me said I turned around so fast my eyes filled with shock

"Sorry sir we are closed" I said as I slowly grabbed the the mop

"I heard you the first time" the dark finger emerged from the corner "but I don't care just like how I didn't care about your dear mother and your dear father is next"

I backed up scared to even blink. I screamed and thew the mop and just like that he was gone. I picked up frosty and my bag and ran out frosty looked confused

As I ran home I got home in a sweat ran up to my room put frosty on my bed and ran downstairs

"DAD DAD WARE ARE YOU PLEASE WARE ARE YOU!" I yelled with tears on my eyes

"April I'm in the kitchen" my dad yelled from the kitchen

I ran over to him and hugged him "your ok"

"Of course I am sweetie what happened" we sat down on the ground him holding me with a conserned look on his face

"Nothing dad I just had a weird feeling"

I stood up and walked back upstairs. Frosty was sitting on my bed I say down with her "hay beautiful" I said well petting her. "What just happened" I thought to myself as I laid down.

When I was very young my mom was killed we never found out who did it. I cried for a long time after that. I have a locket with a picture of my mom in it.

She had long brown hair and green eyes her eyes could strike thew you, I got her a green eye from her and a brown eye from my dad she was very beautiful one of the most beautiful women in the village

I jumped up "ECHO!" I yelled "she's a witch she could probably figure out who that man was" I put my hands on a fist and hit them on top of each other "tomorrow morning I don't have work I will go to her house"

I closed my eyes trying to sleep. After 2 hours of tossing and turning I finally feel asleep.

Time skip till morning

I walked around the house I found my dad outside in the back with the horse I stepped back leaning against the door

"I'm going to my friends house I'll see you later" I said well scared to step one more foot closer to the horse.

"Ok bye sweetie" he said moving the horse back

I ran out to the forest ok I'll find her.
