Tito Rick has a tradition of sponsoring a mass at the church during our first week back home in the Philippines, which is why we woke up early to go to church. In the past, I used to go to Manila after the mass because my mom and siblings lived there. But this time, Tito Rick wants me to play basketball in the local league, so I'll be staying here for three weeks to play."

While I was sitting and listening to the priest's message, I tried my best to keep my eyes open. I haven't had a good night's sleep since I arrived in the Philippines. I didn't understand much from the priest's sermon; all I could think about was getting some rest after church. So, when the mass ended, I quickly got up to leave.

As I was nearing the exit, I noticed a girl who was about to fall. I immediately reached out and grabbed her by the waist, pulling her closer to me. When she looked up at me, I briefly glanced at her face. Her eyes were big and round, like those of a doll. Her nose was small and pointed, perfectly suited to her petite face. She had thin, red lips which were slightly open, and I could catch a hint of her fragrant breath. 'Miss, please move. We can't leave if you don't move,' I told her. Without saying a word, she quickly ran off."

I finally made it back to my bed, but sleep eluded me. I was extremely tired during church, but now I couldn't sleep because that girl's beautiful face kept replaying in my mind. I need to get some rest because our team has our first game tomorrow.

The next day, we played first and I struggled to play because I was not familiar with my teammates, and we almost lost. Fortunately, in the last second, I made a three-point shot. After the game, I looked for a place to buy mineral water when I was caught by the attention of a woman who was busy bending down. So, I immediately approached her and I was right, she was the beautiful woman from the church.

I just lost my focus on the girl when Jo started speaking, and only now did I notice that she was also inside the store. Jo and I just chatted for a moment and then I said goodbye.

I'll just take a quick shower, then I'll come back to watch. bye, Miss Beautiful.

we went to the plaza early again to watch Jeric's game. while Ashly was talking to me, I was looking at the store where Justine was buying our food. Just as I was staring at her, she looked back at me. I noticed that she switched places with Jo, so she was now talking to Justine. I immediately felt jealous. I will court her, my decision is final, I like her and I want her to be mine. I only have three weeks here, so I need to get an answer quickly.

The barangay league is lively and joyful. it's only now that I've experienced such a noisy crowd of spectators, with people teasing and cheering for their respective teams. I didn't realize how time flew until I saw her again at the store, where she was already closing up. I immediately stood up and went to her store to buy a drink, even though I wasn't thirsty. I just wanted to get closer to her and have a conversation.

When the payment was handed over, I intentionally held her hands and noticed that her cheeks turned red, causing me to burst into a smile. "Your face is so red are you alright?."

I'm okay.

I could see the tension on her face, perhaps due to my presence.

I didn't hug you, you hugged me.

Yeah right. I hugged you because you would fall when I saw you and then you suddenly ran away.
