"Yea that's not gonna be my future." You said as you lifted up the top of the box which was more heavy than you would've thought. He tried to pull you back down with one of your arms. You looked at him and told him to stop.

"Watch out!" He yelled as he took cover and hid his head under his arms. You turned to see Mangle hanging right in front of you with her jaw wide open. A tear ran slowly down your face. Just as she was about to rip off your face, she paused like an inch away from your face. A chime filled the pizzeria. It chimed 6 times. You looked over to the guy who had been sitting there, but all you see is a plastic puppet version of him. More tears were brought to your eyes as you slowly stepped out of the box, dodged the hanging Mangle, and walked out the pizzeria. 6:00AM.

                    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You couldn't sleep that well. The thought of how your life could have ended with a flash, didn't make you feel so tired. You didn't like your life, but you didn't hate it either. You sat up on your bed, sighing, getting up and making a cup of coffee. You had got home at about 7, and only slept for about 2 hours and have been sitting there for a good 5 hours. You pushed the button lightly and rubbed your eye. The smell of the coffee brewing gave some thought of being awake. You weren't really conscious of the world around you, you were trapped in your own thoughts. Until your coffee pot made a slight jingle sound to let you know it was finished with your brew. You pulled the sleeves down on your sweatshirt to make a barrier between your hands and the cup, and picked it up slowly. You sat at the round table positioned behind you. The windows seemed to form a half circle around your table, forming bench seats on one side and regular chairs on the other. You liked sitting in the booth side while you rested your head on one of the windows, looking out into the world. Which is exactly what you did. You brought up your knees to your chest and you blew on the coffee ever so lightly. You brought the cup up to your lips and took a sip as your phone vibrated in your sweater pocket. You closed your eyes for a moment while placing the cup on the table and pulling the phone out. The screen lit up and you opened your eyes, it was from Griffin. His profile picture that he saved on your phone for his number popped up on your screen.

-(Griffin): Hey, how did last night go?

(...) :(Y/N)-

You bit your lip. You had told him before you took the key that you would be careful, and safe, what would he think about last night? You already knew there were strange things happening at that pizzeria, but you didn't know current deaths were involved. But you wondered about that guy. Had he just been a figment of your imagination? Or was he really someone who needed your help. You shook your head. You needed to know.

Listen, Griffin, a lot happened last night.:(Y/N)-

-(Griffin): Do you want to come over and talk about it?

Did you? You took another sip of your coffee and decided it was best if you should. Who else would you talk to and what about that guy. "About my whole life." He answered with a big ol smile. You couldn't let him stay a day longer.

Yea, sounds good :(Y/N)-

You chugged the rest of your coffee and you raced to your room. You put on a baby blue, navy blue, and white over sized striped sweater on, and a pair if ripped and distressed black shorts, and you brushed your hair and teeth. You grabbed your keys and drove all the way to Griffins.

-(Griffin): The doors unlocked when you get here, i'll be upstairs.

You nodded at the text as you pulled into Griffin's driveway. Once you turned off the motor, you climbed out and shut the door. You took careful steps to the front door and opened it. The smell of his house was sweet, as if he were baking cookies, and you were right. A plate full of freshly baked cookies were sitting on the dinning room table. You carefully shut the door and grabbed a cookie and zoomed up the stairs. You knocked on Griffin's door then let yourself in. He was laying on his bed, one leg stretched out and the other with his knee raised. His phone seemed to be glued to his face so you flickered his lights on and off. He looked at you with his eyes and smirked.

"Finally you're here." He said as he chuckled to himself when you gave him a 'for real' look. You rolled your eyes and sat on his futon. You nibbled on the cookie and he sat up. He reached out and took part of it and tossed it into his mouth.

"Can we talk about what happened last night?" He asked as his mood seemed to change into something serious. You nodded and sat criss cross. You told him everything that had happened, not leaving out any detail, even about the guy. He seemed unsurprised, which kind of made you feel a little unsettled. He seemed to know what you were gonna say as if he were there with you. Once you were finished he placed his elbows onto his knees.

"You know this doesn't surprise me." He said as he raised an eyebrow at your uneasiness.

"How does that not surprise you?" You asked feeling uncomfortable. He sat up straight and shrugged.

"oh i dunno, because i work there." He said pointing over at his work uniform hanging on his door handle. You gave it a brief look at, then you returned your attention to him. You guys have been best friends for a long time, and you've never felt like how you were feeling right now, uneasy.

"Since you work there, have you seen that guy before?"

"Marionette? Sure, plenty of times." He said as he crossed his legs too. You felt a sort of jolt of reasurness.

"What do you know about him?" You seemed to be on the edge of your seat.

"That hes a plastic puppet toy who gives out toys to kids." He said while looking at you as if you were demented, not right in the head. You rose an eyebrow.

          "I know what i saw-"

"What did you see?" He asked leaning closer as if to observe you. You felt nervous, but for what?

"A guy, he had a face painted white, with purple tear streams coming from his...eyes..." You thought about his eyes for a moment. Their bright glow of grey, almost unnatural. They seemed to have dark circles around them to show how tired he was, but he still was wearing a large smile on his face. Or was that smile forced? From the time he pulled you into his gift box, to the time he had hid from Mangle, he was wearing a smile, "Is he lost...?"

          "Hes a puppet-"

"You keep saying that as if i m insane." You said, placing both feet on the ground.

"I swear to you, the guy you're describing, has the same features as the Marionette puppet." He said clasping his hands together.

"Do you need proof?" You asked, pulling out the key you had slipped into your front pocket when you left your house. He shook his head and placed it into his hands and sighed.

           "Sure.."He mumbled into his hands.

           "What?"

"Sure." He said while rubbing his hands on his pants and standing up to grab his jacket. You smiled.

"Lets go find this dream Marionette guy of yours."

                                                                 -To be continued...-
