The flowers blooming on the sidewalk was crunched beneath Reddit's shoes. He stomped angrily, unafraid of showing this emotion off to the unlucky passerby.

He was acting like this because of YouTube's idiotic decision of hiring Tumblr. Reddit knew Tumblr very well, in fact he knew her while she was in the beta testing. Needless to say, they did not get along. Tumblr was too much of "an absolute piece of donkey shit" as Reddit would say.

When he arrived to his house, he got his keys out of his pocket. He unlocked the door, and went in. The house was messy as usual, and Discord sat lazily on the couch watching spongebob.
Discord is Reddit's roommate, and goes to a different company that specializes in chats and such. He likely would have joined reddit's company, but he didn't exactly know him at the time or care about social media.
Reddit met Discord when Discord was attempting to find a house nearby. It was mere coincidence that Reddit posted online that a room in his house was available for rent. (Reddit was a well known website, and knew that if the roommate attempted to steal from him, he could simply cancel them.) Discord saw this and took the opportunity. They've been in the same place for around five years or so.

"Heya" Discord said, without turning around "how was work today?" "Fine" Reddit replied. He walked towards his room, which contrary to popular belief, did not contain twenty body pillows. Well, not in plain sight anyway. It just looked like a room with no personality. A college student's room.

Reddit faceplanted on his bed, he didn't want to eat or stay up and watch porn, he simply wanted to rest. He closed his eyes, and drifted off to sleep.

His alarm rang, and he shut it off by punching it. He groaned and got up. He opened his dresser which contained twenty body pillows, loads of hentai, and other things that are impossible to explain. He reached into the drawer, and grabbed the exact same jacket he's wearing.

He changed, and went into the kitchen. He heard Discord eating cereal, and made a bowl of cereal for himself. Discord poured milk first, and that made Reddit curious on how he managed to get past beta testing.

After he finished eating cereal, he grabbed his keys from the table, and left for work. "Have a good day!" Discord yelled. "Thanks!" Reddit called back.

Reddit was not looking forward to seeing Tumblr. He wanted to go back home with his mountain of body pillows, but that would have to wait. His job was apparently a priority for him.

When he got to work, there was a scanner. It scans workers' fingerprints, and lets them in. It of course needed Reddit to try four times until he is able to come in. He disliked the fingerprint method mostly due to the machine constantly misreading his fingerprints, but it was better than carrying around an ID like they did a few years ago.

When the doors opened, he went in. They shut behind him.
The building was red. VERY red. It almost glowed on the sleek white floor, and the windows were large, almost welcoming a robbery.
He walked to the elevator, and pressed a button that represented a thumbs up. He heard the elevator approaching. The doors opened. Slightly relieved that no one was in there, he went in.

He clicked floor three, and leaned against the red wall, feeling the calm rumble of the elevator going up.
When the elevator stopped, Reddit was about to get out, but then realized that the elevator wasn't on the right floor. It was on floor two.

In front of him was someone he hoped he wouldn't encounter today.
It was Tumblr.
