Chapter Six

Today the day where I am actually a Bondi lifeguard I was still sore after the punch up I had last night and there is no way I am telling Hoppo. I got up this morning got breakfast put my blue shirt finally and I went down to the beach to star my first shift.

Today looked really busy on the beach means lots of rescue this afternoon. I walked into the tour put my bag down and when closed my locker my hand hurt a bit because of last night I know for a fact someone is going to find out about it. I said hi to Maxie and Hutz and I said "So who am with today". Maxi looked at the and said I was with H. I looked at them shocked and they both laughed and Hutz said "Don't be sacred your the rookie and H will be good to you trust us oh and your down at backpackers". Ok is all I said and went down to backpackers.

It been about 2 hours since I started at backpackers and it been fun with H you learn a lot with him. All of a sudden I saw a a person going under and so H told me to go in and when I got to the person just in time I caught a wave back but as we were going back the wave hit hard on us making the board go up and us nearly fall of I held into the girl but the board hit my hand as it was getting flipped over us I got the to shore and making sure she was ok and she was I told her to go to the flags and she did. But my hand that got hit last night hurt a lot.

I went back to H and told I thick I need a ice pack and so he called one of the boys to take my place and I went back to the tour to get a ice pack the boys that were there made sure I was ok but they said I should stay in the tour for the rest of the day. So I stay in the tour for the rest of the with Maxi at the end my shift I helped pack up and went ho e to rest my hand.

I was tired from today so I said good night to Hoppo and got a ice pack I know he will ask about tomorrow but I can't tell him now I will tell him just not now. When I went to bed I though about today that it was great I did about 20 rescue today which is good for me. After I though about that I went straight to sleep tomorrow is going to interesting
