Chapter 3

-Friday-

"Thanks, I had lots of fun today." Y/n smiles.

"I can't believe you have to leave tomorrow."
Louis sighs.

"It's fine, I promise we'll still talk." Y/n says reassuringly.

Louis hesitates. "So, when did you and you ex boyfriend break up?"

Y/n looks down. "Four months ago, why?"

"Well, I don't want to make it seem like you moved on quickly." Louis looks down at Y/n.

Y/n looks up at Louis and doesn't say anything.

After a few seconds of awkward silence Y/n gets on her tip toes to match Louis' height and kisses him softly.

And that was it. Their first kiss.

Y/n puts her heels back on the ground making Louis appear taller again, and Louis can't help but have a goofy grin on his face.

"I don't like talking about my ex, I like talking about you and me." Y/n smiles.

Louis smirks and leans down to kiss her again.

After a few minutes of kissing in front of  Y/n's grandmother's house Louis pulls away and looks at Y/n.

"I think I'll be okay with long distance." He says smirking and Y/n smiles softly.

"Good ." She says and kisses him one last time before going inside.

Louis stands there for a moment thinking about their actual first kiss .

(or make out session, he couldn't tell.)

All he knew is that he was happy with Y/n and he wanted to be with her.

-two months later-

"So when you come visit again, I want you to meet my best friend." Louis says smiling.

There he's under his blanket. Not realizing it is currently 4:00 in the morning and that he has school later.

"Can't wait." Y/n smiles through the phone.

"He was the first person I told about you, you know, after Millie." He chuckles.

Y/n smiles at that.

"I'm exhausted, can I call you later?"
Y/n says trying not to close her eyes.

"It's okay, I like pretending that you're next to me." Louis says smiling.

"That's cute." Y/n smiles.

And a couple minutes later they both fall asleep while on face time.

- one week later-

"Call me as soon as you land, okay?"
Louis says walking home from school with Millie.

"I will!" Y/n laughs through the phone,

"Can't wait to meet you Y/n!" Millie says out loud.

"You too Millie," Y/n chuckles.

"Okay, well I'll be waiting at the airport."
Louis says holding the phone to his ear.

"Okay. Can't wait!" Y/n smiles, 

they say their goodbyes and then hang up.

"She really likes you Louis, don't mess it up."
Millie says paying more attention to her phone while walking.

"Trust me, I won't."

"Okay, your girlfriend of two months is almost here, just give her these flowers and don't say anything dumb." Louis mumbles to himself as he paces back and forth.
