It starts with me. A boy. Friends. Enemies.
All the things that I really needed, but couldn't have. So let me just jump in.
The bell of my alarm clock woke me up, and I got up quickly, shutting off the annoying sound. I jumped out of my messy bed, and walked to my closet, picking out a sweater shirt. I threw it on, then slipped some old jeans on.
My feet pounded on the stairs as I hurried down, making my way to the bright kitchen. My mother sat at the counter, a bagel sitting on the side of her coffee. "Mickee, your breakfast is in the toaster. Get ready quick, we have to go."
I checked the time. 7:42. Great.
I filled my backpack with all the books I needed, and stuffed the warm, cream cheese covered bagel into my mouth, chewing slowly. I threw on my jacket, and pulled my backpack over my shoulder. "Come on, mom, let's go!"
She came out of her room and followed me outside to the car. I hopped in, and the cars engines woke up. My mom drove down the driveway and to my school.
I'd been going there for about a year now, and the people were much friendlier than in Ireland. I mean I guess everyone in Ireland was very non-talkative and didn't actually do anything to me, but I still feel like they were mean.
I look in my small pocket mirror, and fix my bright-red hair, smoothing it down carefully. I jump when another car honks at my mom and I. I look out the window to see Amy. I smile and roll down the window, my hand flying out. "Hey!!!" Amy's voice echoes towards me, and I see her head pop out of her car window. Brown hair flies in fornt of her face and I laugh, waving good bye.
My mom parks and I hurry out of the car, almost at the same exact time Amy does. "Well, hello Mickee!" Her sweet voice hangs in the air as I smile at her, "Hiya!"
She laughs hysterically, and I giggle to myself. Amy will crack up at anything.
I follow her into the school, and get all the books I need for first period. I wave good bye to Amy, and she yells fare well loudly, causing a teacher to close her door. I smile, not too embarrassed of my friend.
The school day starts, and half the time of my classes, I am glancing at Ryan. The craziest and most wild guy on earth. He has a half a brain and is as annoying as a bee, but he is the sweetest boy ever. If only Jamie Enni wouldn't have her sights set on him.
