Emma's POV

I woke to the sound of yelling from above deck. I turned around to see that Killian was gone. Sighing, I get up and take a look at myself in the mirror. My hair was all messed up and my makeup was smeared all over my face.

After I fixed myself up a bit, I went above deck to see David talking to Killian. But once they saw me, they separated. As Killian was walking to the wheel, I noticed a small, recent bruise on his jaw.

"Oh no he didn't," I think. If David had done that to him, then my walls were back up. For him, anyway.

Even though he couldn't see me, I gave David a small glare. It was barely noticeable, but I felt a bit better.

I walk over to Killian and smile. "Morning Killian."

"Good morning, love," he says. I feel a small tingle in my stomach everytime he calls me that.

"So...what's up with the bruise?" I ask. I desperately wanted to know who did this.

"It's nothing," he says, not making eye contact.

"It doesn't look like anything."

"I'm fine, Swan," he says, sternly.

"Ok, sorry for caring," I say, putting my hands in the air. I glance over my shoulder to see David "discreetly" looking at us.

I head toward him. "What did you say to Killian?"

"Nothing," he replies. I roll my eyes.

"You're a bad liar."

"Fine, I told him to stay away from you," he says.

"Why? Why does it bother you so much?" I ask, annoyed.

"Emma, he was sleeping with you last night! There's a difference between annoying flirting and harassment!"

"He wasn't harassing me! I asked him to be there because I had a nightmare," I say.

"And you couldn't come to anyone else?"

I ignore him and his stupid questions. "Did you punch him?"

"Emma..." he starts.

"Did you punch him!?" I repeat, slightly angrier.

"Yes! I know I overstepped there, but I was mad. He's using you!"

"No he's not!" I sigh, rubbing my temple. "I need to be alone."

I go to the edge of the boat and stare at the ocean. The strong waves hit the side of the ship as I got lost in my thoughts about Killian.

My daydreams are interrupted as I feel the presence of someone next to me. Neal gives me a small smile.

"Hey."

"Can I help you?" I ask.

"Still have the sass, I see."

"What do you want?" I was still slightly annoyed with him

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry. For trying to force you to be with me. I guess I missed my chance," he says.

"Neal... I feel like I will always love you, but I've moved on." I sigh.

"I will love you forever, Emma. But I want you to be happy. Go find Tallahassee, even if it's not with me," he says, giving me a sad smile.

"That is literally one of the sweetest things someone has said to me," I say. "Thank you."

I gave him a kiss on the cheek, before I headed back over to Killian, who was talking to Regina. I don't know why, but seeing them talk made a little bit (key word: little) jealous.

"Hey, what's going on," I ask.

"Nothing," says Regina. "Just talking about the plan to get Henry back. Which we apparently don't have."

"I didn't plan anything because I didn't think we'd make it this far," says Killian.

"Love to see how much faith you have in me," says Regina, glaring.

"Technically, I'm steering the ship."

"Whatever. I'm going to make sure that Gold isn't doing anything stupid. Which is very unlikely," she says, going below deck.

"Killian," I say.

"Swan," he replied.

"I have something to tell you," I say. This was it. I was going to tell him about my feelings.

"Go on, love," he says, smiling encouragingly.

"I... wanted to thank you. For bringing us to Neverland. We could have done it without you."

His smile slightly fades. "No problem, love."

I nod. "Nice work Emma," I think.
