Season 2 episode 23 "girl meets the forgiveness project"

"You called me?" Delilah entered Topanga's, "You called me." She pointed at her sister, "What happens?" She asked when a tall man with blonde long hair walled out of the cafe's kitchen, "Who's that?" She asked in surprise at the attractive man.

"Don't." Topanga muttered.

"No? Why not? Who is he?"

"You said you were going out for a walk and you'd be back in an hour." Katy followed him as he walked towards the teenagers. "You're nine years late."

"No way!" Delilah muttered to her sister.

"Yes way."

"Thank you, Katy." The man smiled.

"For what?"

"I know that in those nine years, you protected me with Maya." He talked, "You never once sold me out."

"Yeah, well, a girl should think well of her father." Katy answered.

"I was real happy to get your letter, Maya." He smiled at the girl. "And that you've got a friend like Riley."

"This girl here is more of a father to me than you." She talked almost upset.

"Yeah, I raised Maya since she was a pup." Riley agreed.

"Looks like you did a bang-up job." He joked.

"So, you left." Maya started, "Why were Mom and I not good enough?"

"No, no, no. Maya." Katy stopped her, "That was a long time ago. We're over it." She talked and then looked at the man, "Why were we not good enough?" She hit his arm.

"Ah! I think you know that wasn't it." He talked to her.

"Ha. You know, I should really go anywhere but here." Riley tried to go with his mother but Maya stopped her.

"Nope, you're gonna stay with me. You're my family." She said, "Oh, how's your other family?" She looked at her father.

"Everyone is fine." He answered.

"Riley, do you care to explain to me your father's idea here?" Topanga sat in front of the girls.

"Our assignment was to forgive somebody." She answered.

"What does that have to do--"

"It changes our history."

"Oh."Topanga smiled.

" That's pretty good." Delilah smiled awkwardly standing behind her sister.

"So Maya wrote to him and he showed up." She finished.

"To forgive him?" Katy asked.

"Yeah, that was the assignment." Maya said, "But I haven't decided if I'm going to pass or fail."
