~Bella's POV~
As Justin and I were laying down we were to distracted with each other to here Lily and Luke walk over to us. 'Found you!' Luke shouted. "Shit!" I yell, pulling Justin up. Before Lily and Luke can tag us, we make it out of the tall grass. We run on the trail, and through the mini forest. I look behind to see if the two are still following. I sigh in satisfactory when I can't see or hear them. I turn back around to tell Justin. "I can't--" I feel a tap on my back. "Got ya babe." Luke says to me, still having his hand on Justin's back.
I jut my bottom lip out, acting pouty. "That's not fair!" I whine in a baby voice. Justin laughs, and I smile again. "Okay lovebirds, go to 'jail'." I blush while Lily and Luke lead us to the big gate that covers 3/4 of the entrance to the trail. We sit on top of it, our feet dangling.
Lily and Luke walk away, their eyes trained on us. "Remember, you can't leave until someone from your team tags--" "Run guys!" Jenna and Jake tag us, pushing us off the gate. Lily and Luke start running towards us, but we turn, going onto the next street and into someone's backyard before they can catch up.
We crouch down, back in the forest again. "Thanks. Jenna. And. Jake." I say, breathing between each word. After a couple of minutes, the four of us get up, surveying the area. "We're pretty far from the park. If we go back, I don't think Lily and Luke will look there." I say, looking around at the three of them. "You're right." Jenna agrees, walking away to the street. Me, Justin and Jake follow her, Jake catching up to her and me and Justin trailing behind. "Wait, guys!" I whisper-yell to the two. They turn around, looking at me.
"Lily and Luke could be anywhere, shouldn't we be stealthy or something?" I ask, twirling my fingers together. "Yeaah, Bella's right. Ninja time!" Justin says. We duck behind cars, houses and bushes, but we finally make it back to the park without getting seen. We sit down in the grass, hidden in the shadows. "Justin?" "Yeah Jake?" He responds. I can feel his chest vibrate as he speaks, my head bobbing up and down to his breathing. "Isn't your treehouse, like, over there?" Jake points to a high tree at the edge of the park. Justin nods. "Yeah--Oh my gawd it is!" He gets up, taking me by the hand, leading me to the tree. We climb the rope ladder, Jake and Jenna following behind me.
When we get to the top I smile. There is posters of bands and singers dotting the wood wall. There is a large couch facing a weird looking TV. "It's water-proof." Justin explains, following my eyes to the TV. "Oh." There is a mini fridge beside the couch and a micro wave on top of it. "Um...how do you get elecricity?" Jenna asks, looking at the fridge, TV, microwave and lamps. Justin stratches the back of his neck. "Extension cords." He says, making me giggle a bit. Jenna smiles at me. I blush, looking down, knowing what she's hinting at.
The four of us sit down on the couch, Jenna making me sit beside Justin. I return the favour, making her sit beside Jake. We put on four headphones, and turn on the TV. Justin casually puts his arm around my shoulders and I smile, blushing. Oh, what a night.
Luke's POV
"Ugh, we can't find any of them." Lily grumbles, pouting playfully. I chuckle, looking around for any sight of the eight. "I guess not." I respond. "Do you want to call it quits?" I ask, looking down at her. She blushes, and I can't help but think how beautiful she looks with her blonde hair flying in the wind and her blue eyes sparkling in the moonlight. "Yeah, sure." She responds.
"OKAY GUYS! WE QUIT! YOU WIN!" I scream, and Lily covers her ears, giggling. We walk back to the park to see the rest of them there, sitting in a circle. "Hey. We should probably be getting back." Lily says, helping Nicole up. "Okay, so see you tomorrow?" Justin asks Bella. She looks up at him, smiling. "Of course, what time?" "Three. I'll pick you up." Justin replies. Bella giggles. "Okay, bye." She says. Justin leans down, kissing her on the cheek.
Justin pulls away, and walks away from the girls with us. As soon as they're out of ear shot, Jake starts teasng him. "Does little Justin have a crush?" He says, making kissy sounds. Justin knocks him upside the head, grumblnig something. "Hmm? What was that?" Josh teases. Devon chuckles, then lightens up the conversation. "It's alright. We all know you like her."
"Yeah. I do." Justin replies, smiling.
