Where is Earth? Where is the universe? Does it even exist anymore? I don't remember much about it; although I've lived in the Dream since the beginning. But I know, I can't stop waking up. Is this a dream? Or a nightmare? This so-called "Dream" is infinite reality. This realm sifts with surreal energies from beyond, although I don't think it is really a dream? It certainly acts like one, though. Otherwise, who could be the one dreaming it? Was it who created it? People just call them an "Entity," a deity just as fickle and uncontrollable as the Dream itself. Not much is known about them, though. The Entity is believed to have been created from a blackhole of hatred and suffering, coming from Earth itself. The cancerous advancement of technology and culture caused conflict, shattering the remaining planet and attracting a feeding frenzy of nightmares. The few survivors awoke in a realm split into segments, separated by pools of dark matter, known as "Conception." These are the birthing pools of life and nightmares alike. The souls who live through the shadow fiends are born. It is survival of the fittest. The realms are permanently connected via pathways or temporarily linked via shrines or other relics.
