After going home from that entire disaster yesterday, Lied had only one thing on his mind. What could possibly be a good excuse. His classmates were smart and he may be good at gambling, but gambling was definitely different than lying to your friend's faces. He could tell them the truth. No, that was a terrible idea. You didn't go through all the trouble to simply tell them the truth. He was only snapped out of his thoughts once he arrived home. He was home alone since his parents were working and his sister went to a sabbath, again. Knowing his sister, she was definitely going to be hungover tomorrow.
Lied would just take this opportunity to think of an excuse in silence. After ten minutes he gave up this method and grabbed his phone. He was looking for excuses online. Because what other options were there. He had given it all his brainpower and still failed.
Lied clicked on the first site he could find. The first option was saying he was sick, that wouldn't make sense at all. He couldn't just say that he was gonna be sick on that specific day.
The second option was a family holiday. That wouldn't do, because if that was the truth then he wouldn't have stormed out of the classroom like he did.
Lied let out a groan. Why did everything have to be so difficult? And his earlier actions didn't help either. Thinking about it Lied had come to the conclusion that whatever he had as an excuse must either be worrying or embarrassing,
Why? Because if it was anything else he wouldn't have bolted out of the classroom. You're a genius, Shax Lied. Lied thought to himself, proud that he had taken the first step. But Lied was struck with a realization that he was going to come up with an embarrassing excuse. He wouldn't let his friends worry over nothing. So an embarrassing excuse it was.
Now he only had to come up with an excuse. He had a feeling that he was back where he started. Lied didn't realise the time as his sister came inside the house. She was just back from her sabbath and by the looks of it, it didn't go as she had planned.
Shakky was definitely drunk. It wasn't like that was a problem, it was just annoying. Lied closed his phone and walked to the fridge to grab some water for his sister who disappeared into her room, still in her dress and make-up.
He opened her door and threw the bottle of water on her head. 'I expect a thank you, you know,' Lied said, knowing full well that he wasn't going to get one. She opened the bottle of water and started drinking it. 'Saw you thinking 'bout something when I walked in. You can always come to your darling sister,' Shakky said. Lied knew that it was useless to talk to his sister now that she was still drunk. 'If you wanna talk to me you gotta sober up a bit,' Lied answered, but his sister was probably worse when she was hungover.
Lied still had most of the day to think and he just hoped that he could think of something before tomorrow.
After getting home from the talk with Clara and Asmodeus, Iruma was greeted by his grandfather and Opera. He was happy that one thing was out of the way, but now another problem is right in front of him. He already had a few ideas in his head. Now the only thing was to check how well that would fit together in the bigger picture. Maybe he should check how Lied and Kerori were doing.
But Kerori already made an excuse, she was going to go to a family dinner, so it was only logical that Iruma wasn't going to use that as an excuse. The hardest part was that they all had to make their classmates believe their lies.
Iruma was lying on his bed. He knew that after he accidentally exposed Kerori and Lied's secrets, he would have to accept responsibility. So he took his phone and decided to just text them both directly. They made a groupchat with just the three of them. For evidol related business only. Kerori texted them a lot. She wanted it to be perfect after all. Iruma began typing.
- I accidentally revealed our secret to Asmodeus and Clara.
So he sent it. Iruma hoped they wouldn't be all too mad. Maybe he should text exactly how they found it out. That would probably be better, but it was already too late as he saw that Kerori was typing.
- Iruma, I don't even wanna know how you managed to do that accidently. But it should be fine since they have performed as evidols once.
Kerori wasn't mad so that was good. Now it was only Lied and he hopefully wouldn't flip. He was probably scared that his secret would get out to the entire school and breaking Iruma's thoughts were the signs that showed that Lied was typing.
- Are you serious
- How could there be FIVE evidols in our class!
- To think Asmodeus wore a dress HAHAHAHA
Lied had completely skipped over his message and the only thing that Iruma had gotten out of this was that he wasn't the only one who accidentally exposed two evidols.
- I'm at least not the only one who is exposing evidols here.
- ...
Iruma was actually just waiting for Lied's realization of having his secret exposed. It wasn't long before he got it.
- If they are evidols too I don't mind at all
- It's not like they are gonna expose our secret since Iruma's in on it too
Well at least that was taken care of. They chatted for some time before they all went offline. Iruma just hoped no other problems would come up. Thinking about it, he only needed to make an excuse for everything and then hopefully everything would turn out alright. So eventually he came up with an excuse. This would be perfect, he thought. At that moment Lied texted them with his excuse and it was actually pretty good. Iruma told them his excuse and by then it was already time for dinner.
After school Kerori went to the agency to do some things, she didn't need Iruma nor Lied for. She really couldn't hide her excitement for all of this. After training for a few days with Lied and Iruma she realised how far she had come. Kerori was really grateful for them since they could have refused her and then she wouldn't know what to do. It was already a hassle to explain how not her entire group could make it, but thankfully Mar was right by her side.
Kerori knew that Iruma and Lied could do this. She believed in both of them. The only thing that was bugging her was that a lot of Irumi fans wanted to see her like she was at the end of the evidol games. That meant Iruma needed to be in his evil cycle again. Even Kerori wasn't sure if Irumi was in her evil cycle or not, but she had to talk to Iruma if he wanted to do it. It was already a lot of work to go to the event. She didn't want to throw any more on his plate.
Gyari was going to be there too. That wasn't really the problem since they were all on good terms. The thing was that they never really cleared the thing about marriage. So Gyari still thinks that Kuromu and Irumi are going to get married, but they aren't, resulting in Gyari's jealousy. But then she thought she was a genius and came up with the solution to marry both of them. So, Gyaria was since the evidol games death set on capturing their hearts and marrying both of them.
Kerori just hoped that was the last problem they needed to deal with, but knowing their luck something else is going to come up.
