I was about to close my apartment door when the old lady who lives beside my apartment talked to me for the first time since i moved in here, which was a year ago.

"Good Morning, your name is Lily right?"

"Good Morning Ms. Ferguson! Yes i'm Lily Addams"

"Do you like reading books?"

"Of course! I'm a big fan of books!"

"I wanted to give you this.... as my welcome gift"
She smiled and slowly got inside of her apartment. I can hear the click of her doorknob, assuming she locked her door.

It was really strange how she just gave me her welcome gift after a year i moved in...

After i got back i read the book that the old lady gave me. It wasn't that long compared to the books i usually read. It was about the story of a young mistreated maiden with magical powers, who thought she found the love of her life but he just used her so that he can take her power. She disappeared. She discovered a book on how to become immortal and after studying it, she became immortal. After a decade she came back for revenge.

That was the end of the first book, i wonder where could i buy the second book. The story is.... addicting.

I searched it up on the internet and ordered the second book online. I couldn't find the nearest bookstore where they sell the second books. And well, there's only one stock left so i decided to take it.

*Few weeks after*

The book that i ordered just arrived and couldn't wait to read it.

The second book focuses on her revenge to the man's descendants. And in the end, she never got the chance to do her revenge because of the great wizard that's protecting the king, who used her, and his descendants.

At the back page, it's supposed to be blank but, there's a note written, and it's......for me.

Lily, it's your duty to accomplish my revenge and kill his descendants. I am counting on you.

I quickly got up and knocked on the old lady's door. She did respond and her door was unlocked, so i decided to go in without permission.

I saw her, stitching a broken tapestry.

"I'm sorry Ms. Ferguson, i came in to check if you were.... okay"

"It's alright lily, and i presume you came here to ask me something?"

"uh yes, well about the second book of what you gave me.... there's a-"

"A message"

She cut me off. She gently put down the unfinished tapestry on her table and turned around, making a signal that i should come closer.

"Here, open it when you're confused about something. But, don't open it right now"

I nodded and said goodbye to her. She gave me a pendant, no a locket.

I woke up with the locket on my neck. I don't remember putting this on...

Someone knocked at my door so i opened it. Two police officers, interrogated me. Asking me if when was the last time i saw Ms. Ferguson.
I couldn't answer, i was really confused. I told the police to come back tomorrow, maybe i can answer their questions.

They agreed and left. I quickly got inside of Ms. Ferguson's apartment and remembered something. What she said last night while giving me the locket.

I opened it and her memories flashed by my eye. Lily Ferguson. Her full name.

Lily, it's your duty to accomplish my revenge and kill his descendants. I am counting on you.

The lily that the book meant was for her....not for me. But i don't understand, why did she give me this?

I looked on the unfinished tapestry she was making before she disappeared. It explains about a woman passing a black staff from generation to generation, and all of them were named, Lily.

At the back was a note,

I didn't accomplish the mission, it's your turn, Lily Addams. Open the book again, to travel and get revenge on his descendants.

"I'm one of Lily's descendants, And how dumb of me! The maiden's name was also Lily!"

I got back in my apartment and there it was, the book. It's glowing. I opened it and that's how my story began.

This is just the beginning, and i promise to all of my past generation who failed, to fulfil the duty, of getting revenge.
