Lisa had been glaring out the window for 30 minutes now. The rain trickled down the windowpane. YongJoon poked her back from behind.

"Hey, what are you doing? You've been out of it for a while now."

"Don't bother me. Noona isn't in a very good mood right now."

"What, are you on your period or something?"

"It's been a while, hasn't it? Do you want to see some blood?"

Lisa fiercely glared at him, making YongJoon shut his mouth.

After SungHo disappeared, Serim had collapsed at a frighteningly fast rate. The mighty YongSung, which had had a strong hold on the economy thanks to KeumOh, was no exception. 1 year ago, all the leaders of YongSung were taken into custody. All that was left were the minor illegal companies that were involved in fraud and embezzlement. As these companies started to resurface, the police were busy putting them away one by one.

In the midst of all this, YongJoon quickly wiped his hand clean of criminal organizations and set up a detective agency. But then Lisa, who had worked with him at Serim, popped out of nowhere, set up her desk, and took her place at the agency even though he never asked her to. Back then, she had gone undercover and infiltrated the enemy organization YongSung in order to spy on a man. They weren't only involved with finding missing people or tailing targets. Their services also included finding con artists and conning them back. After Lisa had joined the agency, she brought in enough customers to increase their revenue. They now made a hefty amount of money. "Welcome. Did you find this place okay?"

"Yes... I left early because of the rain, but it looks like I came here ahead of schedule... I'm sorry."

The meek woman hesitated to enter as she looked around. She was a client who had come 30 minutes early.

A month ago, this woman had commissioned work from them, but this was the first time Lisa and YongJoon had seen her face. Depending on the type of work they requested, the clients that came to them often didn't show their faces.
