After the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry, Ron, and Hermione all went to work for the Ministry. Harry and Ron became Aurors, and Hermione began her post-Hogwarts career at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Eventually, Harry became Head of the Auror Office, Hermione became Minister of Magic, and Ron left the Ministry to help George run the joke shop.
