He stood in the rain as he looked up at his life, that he had lost the person who he had taken for granted. The rain soaked his shirt, her favorite shirt as he stood across the street from the club. The time she had walked away after seeing a girl at his apartment, the many times she had seen him dance with others or her with guys, their relationships they knew would amount to nothing if they kept the other around but this time she hadn't.

"You and I will never..." she had trialed off as her words had hit him "we are filling space and time" as she looked up at him. She fit into him so easily, as his arms wrapped around her.
"What's so wrong about that?" she looked at him.
"I want to love and feel less alone" she got up to change, she wasn't going to stay the night.
"You feel alone with me?" he looked at her as she pressed her lips to his.
"Only after... the feeling is temporary" as she picked up her tee sliding it back on.
"You are the most permanent girl in my life" as she chuckled.
"And there in lies the problem" she grabbed her bag as she pressed a last kiss to his cheek and left, he had been left in a state of worry as he tried to figure out how to fix it.

The last night they had spent together as she smiled up at him, there had been something else in her eyes that night.

He watched the rain drop down as the moon disappeared, looking up he saw the blue umbrella above him as he followed the handle.
"Devyn" she smiled at him, he wasn't able to read her.
"Jin" her expression didn't change as he pulled her up into him. She dropped the umbrella wrapping her arms around him pulling him in pressing her lips to his.

The rain poured down on them as he could only focus on her mouth pressed against his, her soft lips against him as he pulled her into him as tightly as he could. A kiss that helped him live, every moment of his life that change each time she looked at him. Every drive he ever had to bring her to him, to not hurt and destroy the one person who was always there and who never left. He fought with every instinct to be the better person for her, to be the person she deserved.

He placed her back on the ground as she looked up at him, the rain fell on her cheeks and ran over her eyelashes as she smiled at him.
"Devyn" his hand intertwined in hers as his forehead pressed to hers.
"Kim Seokjin why are you out in the rain? What if you get sick?" he smiled at her, losing his breathe. She walked him under the closest building taking shelter.
"I thought you.." as she looked into his eyes.
"Do you think after 10 years of work I would give you up to make some other girls life that easy? I put in the hard work" as he chuckled.
"Malic?"
"After you came to see me... I had to end it. It wasn't fair to him, how can you live without love?" he stood back not letting go of her hand.

"I am surprised Yoongi didn't tell you, it was a few weeks ago" as she looked him.
"That call at your apartment that night"
"He just needed to pick up the stuff he left at mine"

"What are you doing here?" as she looked over at him.
"Just looking at where it all began" she smiled at the lights, the loud music that blasted out the door.
"That wasn't where it began" as she looked up at him. "It was when you were 17, the start of the school year as you greeted everyone and Yoongi. Your hair was down and the wind had blown it, you were laughing with Lexie trying to fix it and Yoongi had laughed at you both" she wasn't sure what to say "it's been more than 10 years for me" as she held her breath.
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"Cause someone told me you are too good for me, that someone also told me changed your major because of me" as she smiled at him. He had come to learn more about her through Yoongi, she came from money. Her family owned real estate, shopping malls and the card he had given her was her last name. Weiss dynasty, he hadn't connected the dots and her apartment had been small.
"That someone has a big mouth" as he chuckled nodding in agreement.

"Without that someone we wouldn't be here though" as she intertwined her hand in his.
"We should go find them" as she giggled.
"I think they are at home" as she looked at him.
"Let's go home, I will message them" as she nodded.
