THE UNDULATED WOODS.

Chapter 18.

In few seconds, I saw the bushes poppies, plumeria and night blooming jasmines, there were small white globules bouncing on them, and in a moment, there were many bouncing and flitting in the air. Those tiny balls were floating in the air, I saw the globules rolling on the trees, they were rolling on the branches of trees, and later floating in the air, later they were shooting in the heavens. I felt like my skin getting wrinkly or pruney. There were hush falling over the forest, I could sense an eerie silence, I could hear my heartbeat raging, but the tiny balls were still floating in the air, illuminating the dark forest. The sound I heard was of the raging river. I guess that the evil forces would give someone the business. "It's getting to a whole new level." I conversed. The wasn't familiar with the forest, however, as I had witnessed everything for the past few days, so it rings a bell. The switched off the torch as the forest was illuminated by tiny globes floating in the air, while some of them were ascending to heavens. This place may be insufferable, and the situation will go sideways. I was a bit wheezing, and it had it coming, as I dared to this place. I was following the river, and it led me deep inside the forest, however, I didn't come across Lokesh's house which is situated at the other side of the river, and that was strange for me. The white balls vamoosed in thin air; however, the mysterious light still lit the forest, I didn't know the source of light.

I continued trudging and later I was on a gentle slope, as the river seemed to be flowing downwards, I was on a palisade. I moved ahead, and later the gong followed, it filled the air again, and the trees began to huddle, the bushes began to ruffle, the pattering continued and it seemed like ese, perhaps they have their own language, and to top it off the forest seemed to be endless. I was on the barrel. Again, the tiny globules appeared in the air, and they were bouncing on the bushes and tall trees, they seemed to be clinging on the branches. The balls began to float in the air, as the gonging sound increased incessantly, the forest was tantalising but it was getting uncanny. The elemental forces were presumptuous towards me as I had ventured into their territory, the globules surrounded me, and seemed to form a corral around me. I was disoriented and they would kill me, however, I was certain that they won't kill me, as I had chanted the Holy Hymns as an immunity against evil forces. 

The globules shoved away from me, and they hit against each other and they flew in the air, but they were revolving in the forest, swiftly and flitting. "What on earth I gotta do?" I questioned to myself. However, luck favours the prepared, so I had prepared myself for the evil it might befall.
