"What the hell are you doing, Lee Jackson?" I looked back and smiled smugly, "Heheh, climbing a tree?"
Tony shook his head and gently pulled me down. "I thought you were stuck." He smiled deviously and said, "I won the bet, honey."
Well, I just stood with a blank look on my face. No, shut up! Lee Jackson is never dumbfounded...she's just lost..sometimes. And for the record, I wasn't stuck...heh.
"The bet," he said, rolling his eyes. "You already forgot?" I smiled sheepishly. Not that I forgot, I mean...I have a busy life. Do you know how hard it is to wake up every morning, survive a whole twenty-four hours and then start up again? Well, it isn't easy!
"Remind me what we bet on," I said. "I wanna see if you remembered!"
He shook his head and picked me up, and might I say, rather harshly. "We said whoever helps the other first, has to give the other a piggy back ride."I glared at that son-of-a-biscuit. "And how the hell am I supposed to carry you?" He laughed like he was off his rocker. Pretty insane, really.
"Figure it out, sweetheart." And with that, she left me with a small peck on my nose. I saw him casually walk into a blue mustang. He sat in the passengers seat and rolled down the window and asked the driver, "Can she tag along?"
He looked beffudled. "Her? Come to guy's night?" He smacked Tony outside the head. "Are you an idiot?!"
He turned to me and smiled like an idiot, "Sorry, hun." I smiled in agreement.
I mean, a girl, at guy's night? That's bonkers!!! I turn to walk a away, and the driver calls back to me. "No offence, but you're such a girl."
And that was enough for me to break his face in."I am what?" I clenched my teeth and waited for a responce. "Nothing!" Tony replies immediately. "Love you, Lee!" He smiles nervously and urges for the driver to move on. "See you tomorrow, love you..again!"
I shake my head knowingly. Never, ever call Lee Jackson a girl. Man, if anything, I just wanna hang out with them. I just wanna see what it's like to be a boy...just for a day.
I sit by the tree that I had gotten stuck...I mean...yeah, I got stuck. Anyways, I sit by the tree. "I'll name you Pam," I said to it. "And we'll be friends 'till the end of time!"
A girl passing by looks at me with a bewildered reaction. "Nothing to see here!" She scurried on and I shook my head smiling.
"Now, where was I," I asked myself aloud. "Ah yes!"What if I could be a boy for a day? Oh, that seems insane! But it was just a thought. No harm done, right? I smiled at Pam and walked up the gravel path up to my doorstep. I looked back at Pam. "If only I could be one of them..."
