"We need a tree," Jon demanded, skipping into the living room where Tyler and Brian were on the couch. Evan was typing away at his laptop, doing some work and Brock was in the connecting kitchen, doing dishes.

They'd been living together in this house for about a month, and it'd taken them about 5 weeks to settle the house lease and property payments. But now, Jon was demanding a tree.

"It's still November," Evan said confused and Jon rolled his eyes. "It's November 27th, the day after Thanksgiving. That's when you're supposed to decorate for Christmas," he demanded, fists on his hips.

Tyler and Evan exchanged amused looks, Brian and Brock nodding in agreement with Jon. "Alright I guess, let's get dressed. Do you want a real tree or buy a large fake one?" Tyler asked and Jon looked between Brock and Brian for a moment.

"Let's do a fake one, and not worry about cutting down a tree. And that way we can have our tree for many years to come," Brock said logically and the other two nodded.

"Alright, guess we're headed to Sam's Club. They have bigger trees than Walmart," Tyler said, getting up and ignoring Brian's look as he stretched.

"Well? Go get dressed," Tyler said to Brock and Jon who immediately sprinted off towards their bedroom. Tyler and Evan rolled their eyes as Brian ran after them a second later, Evan saving his work and putting his laptop away.

They walked into the bedroom to see Brock rummaging the closet, Jon struggling with his shirt in his haste and Brian laughing at Jon in the middle of the room.

Tyler sighed and went to help Jon, pulling it over his head and raising an eyebrow at the redness of Jon's cheeks. "We're still going, you can take your time," he said amused and Jon just beamed at him, rushing shirtless off to the closet.

Evan had managed to get Brian moving and finally, about 15 minutes later, they were all dressed and Jon was dragging Brock out the door. Brian was rushing after them and Evan and Tyler just laughed as they followed.

The drive to Sam's Club went quick, the three in the backseat arguing over how big of a tree they needed, if they should get a colored one or classic, and then what decorations they should get.

"Should we do a theme?" Brock asked and Brian hummed, frowning thoughtfully as Jon tilted his head. "That could be fun. But what theme?" Brian asked and Brock hummed. "We need something that's us, you know?" He said and Brian and Jon nodded eagerly.

Evan and Tyler just exchanged amused smiles in the front seat and sat listening to the three debate over what theme they wanted.

Jon wanted a plushie theme, like Brock's eagle, his teddy bear, Brian's horse, Evans owl and Tyler's pig, but Brian didn't want it to feel like a zoo. "Also, our colors don't really go together. One or two? Yeah, but not all of them. Yellow, red, blue, green and pink? It won't work," Brian argued and Jon pouted.

"What if we just did a white Christmas? Like the frosted trees and blue lights? Then we could get ornaments that vary of our colors, red, blue, green, some white and silver? We can still add our animal avatars, but smaller and not plushes," Brock asked and everyone looked at each other before nodding.

"Sounds good to me," Tyler said cheerfully and a minute later they pulled into the Sam's Club. Jon and Brock leaped out of the truck, the other three following behind.

The two oldest sprinted off  making Evan Tyler and Brian laugh as they followed. They knew where the two were going and didn't bother rushing.

Sure enough they found their two boyfriends rushing around the Christmas area, debating over trees and lights. The three left them to it, knowing they'd find the perfect tree and went to look at ornaments.
