Prom With Luke...Part 1

You were born in America and when you were 12 your family decided to move to Australia. Your dad got the job offer he wanted and you had to pack up your life. You weren't happy about because they weren't switching schools, leaving friends, their popular status, and boyfriend.

My dad was happy he didn't have to pay 4,000 for this trip cause his company was. I on the other hand and pissed off. It's going to be a 7-8hr flight.

*puts to fingers on my temple*

Now let me explain I'm not a brat and I don't really rebel. I'm the baby so they baby me. So I get away with everything.

~Fast forwarding to starting school cause the ready is boring~

We had to wear uniforms and I to be honest don't want a uniform. But atleast I don't have to worry about being judged for my clothes. I walk in to my first class. I was late as usual and the male teacher clears his throat.

"You must be Ms.Walter" his accent thick and its hot af. Not so much him. "Ugh yes...." you say kinda awkwardly from being called out. "Well I know it's your first day and all so you'll get lost. But let's not make it a habit or I'll send you to the office." "Yes sir" you say more mockingly. "I'll have a student help you around for the rest of the day. Who would like to escort Ms.Walter to her classes?" Mr.Ward asks. "Ahh Luke you're a good lad. Help her out?" he smiles. Some curly haired boy says "sure" quietly.

You sit next to the boy named Luke and he asks all kinds of questions. You were annoyed with him already. "So let me see your classes" you hand him your classes. "Well you have 3 others with me and the others I can show you" he smiles sweetly. You smile slightly trying to be polite. "Thanks I'm Melissa" you say. "Well I'm Luke and if you don't mind would you can sit with me and my friends around lunch. We chill in the library" he says. "Ugh...yea sure that's nice."

Class ends you follow Luke to your next class and he walks in. He hands shakes a boy who looks actually like him and he sees you. "Hey I'm Jai" he smiles cheekily. "OI Jai she just got here give her a minute to breathe before you try and get at her" Luke says laughing. You blush and nod back. They sit together so you sit behind them. "So what part of America are you from?" Jai asks. "California." "Nice I've always wanted to visit." "It's beautiful especially if you live near the ocean." "That's fucking awesome." "So what's your favorite color?" Luke asks. "Blue." "I would have guessed pink" Jai says. "I can see blue" Luke laughs. You make a distinguished face "Ew no Pink is not on my favorite list of colors" you say laughing. They keep asking you questions and at lunch you meet a tall guy named James, and two others named Skip and Beau. Beau is the oldest and had pretty eyes, Skip was crazy but funny, and James was quite the sass monster. You liked them and can you guys being friends.

You guys did stay friends for a while until they started doing youtube. You of course didn't see them that much in school but filmed them doing the stupid pranks. They were fucking nuts but you wouldn't trade them for the world. You were so sad when they left and moved to California. You wanted to go and could have but you parents wouldn't let cause your 17.

School without them was boring. You made more friends through the years but they were your homies.

"Hey Melissa are you excited for prom?" Your best friend Hannah asks. "Eh not really cause I don't have a date" you say sad. "You don't need one Mary says. "Eh but I want one..." you sigh and feel your phone buzz knowing its Luke.

10 minutes went by and no reply so you put your phone back in your pocket. You walk to your next class which is English. Which the teacher was so laid back you'd be able to text the whole class. Then you felt a buzz from your phone.

You put your headphones in and listen to music and doodle. You weren't drawing anything in really. Till your phone starts going off like crazy due to a phone call. You answer.
"Hello?" "Cunt your in school you shouldn't be answering!" "Shut the fuck up Lucas" you roll your eyes "You called me knowing I could answer so speak." "Will you go to prom with me?" You wait for a laugh but there isn't. "Luke don't play with me." "I'm not will you go to prom with me?" "LUCAS YOUR SERIOUS?! YOU'D TAKE ME TO PROM AND VISIT?! Is it allowed?" "I just asked RONNIE and he said I can." "OMG! Ugh yea I'll go with you but...you better not think your getting lucky." You both crack up. "I'll see you in a couple months Meli love you." You were ecstatic that Luke can come but that means they'd all be back. And you couldn't wait to go home and tell your parents. They were happy they're coming to visit cause they missed them too.

You told your friends and had to go dress shopping which was not fun. You took your twin Brittany with you. She wasn't blood related but you guys had the same birthdate, acted the same, and everyone says you look alike. You guys found this red dress that was poofy and princessy feeling. It had a lace up backing and had sparkles. It was beautiful and the only dress Luke agreed with. Lol cause he refused to as he put it "wear anything that didn't make me look FABULOUS". I swear he's gay sometimes and chuckle. You found red cow girl boots to match the dress and thought that would be funny as hell. Luke hates cowgirl/boy boots. So you HAD to.
