(y/n) shivered on the stand. The defense pulling apart his testimony to twist everything so it looked like he did it! He hadn't! He'd just- He'd just misspoke!
Right's and lefts were hard. So what if he got it wrong?
"Objection!" The Demon Prosecutor slammed his hand down. Powerful and firm. The courtroom hushed. "You are harassing the witness. I will not stand for such slander of the innocent. Unless you have evidence of your claims you will withdraw your question."
The defense ground it's teeth. Snarled hideously.
Did.
"Thank you." He grabbed the prosecutors dark pink sleeve in the holding room. "I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't stopped her." Grey steel orbs met his. Surprised. "You saved me."
There was confusion there. As he searched (y/n)'s face. Like he'd never been thanked before. it made his chest ache.
"I was just doing my job."
The demon prosecutor's gaze dropped to the floor. Red tinting his cheeks. He had no horns or claws to speak of. No evil smirk or devilish laugh. (y/n)'s hands drifted lower to his hand and they were soft. He wondered if they hurt from slamming the table. From saving him. From putting the guilty away so they could never harm anyone again.
He could fix that. The exhaustion in his hands. The bruises under his eyes.
He licked his lips. Edgeworth tracked the motion.
"Can I repay you?"
"I am a public prosecutor." His gaze did not move from (y/n)'s lips. "That's not necessary."
"I know." Took a step closer. Edgeworth shifted a step back. Back pressed against the wall. "But I want to. That's why I'm offering."
The demon, who wasn't much of a demon at all -short of the furious scarlet his face had turned, bit his lip. Searching for... Something.
"I can offer you no legal protections or advice in return for any services or actions-"
"Yeah okay." Kissed up his jaw to nibble at his earlobe. Edgeworth went boneless in his arms. "That's enough." He whispered. "My turn to help you."
He undid Edgeworth's pants. Moved back and captured his lips in a kiss. (y/n) pressed his thigh into the growing tightness in Edgeworth's pants. His well practiced tongue waring for dominance with Edgeworth's silver one.
One hand snaked up and scratched lightly at Edgeworth's scalp. He moaned into (y/n)'s mouth and gave up all pretense of playing to win. Instead grinding mindlessly against his thigh and pressing into the hand that had snuck up under his vest to kneed at his chest.
And what a chest it was.
"How do you want this?"
Grey eyes opened. Blown wide with excitement. "Do... Do you have...?" He flicked the over sensitive bud on his chest. Ground his leg against him. Edgeworth's eyes fluttered closed with a groan as he moved into it. Head dropping into his shoulder. Hands digging into his back.
He laughed. Not so scary now. "Lube? Yeah. You want it?" That beautiful face hid in his shoulder. "Want me to rail you against the courthouse wall? Fuck you so good the only bar you'll be thinking of is the one in my pants? So hard that you have to bite down on my shirt to keep from screaming my name and letting everyone know how undefeatable the demon prosecutor really is?"
His whimped. Took a shaky breath as his hand slipped down and behind.
"The courthouse is soundproof."
(y/n) Grinned.
"That sounds like a challenge." Edgeworth's eyes opened just a fraction. An eat shit grin playing at his cheeks and he knew it was. Oh he wanted to taste that grin.
He leaned in and did.
He slapped Miles ass on the way out as he tried to fix the disheveled mess of his hair and the hickies that peaked over the edge of his cravat. He jumped. Turned just as red as his suit one more time. His legs were trembling like a newborn fawn.
"Take a nap princess. I think the couch has your name on it."
Miles stared at the couch. Glanced at the door. At him. "Can I?"
His chest did that funny thing again. "Yeah. Course. I won't tell."
"... Thank you, (y/n)."
He was out before he could ask what exactly Edgeworth was thanking him for.
