Jaffar McKnight, one of my child sims from the family in the last chapter, is a genius sim and loves doing his homework. He was working on his homework when he suddenly became hungry. I canceled the action of doing his homework and had him eat some leftover BLT. After scarfing down the meal, I had him return to his homework. The homework booklet was sitting at a different place at the table. Instead of grabbing the homework, and starting to work on it, the book opened, and Jaffar started writing on the table where he was sitting, instead of in the book. It seems as if glitches are rare in the Sims 4 so it's always exciting to see one.
