Chapter 2: The Birthday Present

Y/n Pov
It was Estella birthday the boys said they were getting a cake and Jasper had a present in mind. So I didn't know what to do for Estella. I woke up and got up off the floor and stretched. I asleep on the floor because I wanted Estella to have bed after all I was abandoned for a reason right. Estella didn't like for me to think that way so I kept my thoughts to myself, lucky no one knew the true reason why I loved long sleeves. Estella would kill me if she found out. I stood figuring out what I could for her birthday, I went to the sewing room and started to make a design while she was still asleep. Buddy come through and sat by the fireplace watching me work. This was the final sketch I did.

I stared at it for quite a while I don't know if Estella going to like this I thought to myself. I sighed and quietly got to work making sure not to wake Estella. After an hour or a few I was done my design was on one of Estella's mannequin, I'm sure she won't mind. I sat down where I would normally sleep and started reading my favourite newspaper with the baroness designs looking stunning as always.

Estella's Pov
I woke to see Y/n reading her newspaper like always. "Morning Y/n" I said sitting next to her. She smiled at me and hugged me. "What are the plans for today?" I said playing with her hair. "It's up to you Estella the boys are out working so it's just me, you and Buddy" Y/n said with a smile. She always like spending time with me, I can't blame because we always have a wonderful time. "Want to stay in bed and cuddle all day?" She looked at me with a surprise look. "Is that really what you want to for you birthday?" She said still surprised. "Of course darling your my favourite person after all" I said patting her head. I always patted her head because I knew she need affection and to be reminded that she isn't worthless. Even though in her mind she got abandoned because she doesn't deserve to life, so I'm trying my best to get her out of that mindset. We both climbed on the bed and cuddle each other, Y/n fell asleep in my chest I guess she begin working too much on herself again.

In the afternoon

Estella's Pov
The boys returned home they seemed really happy but loud causing Y/n wake up but she just rolled over and yawned not being bothered have a go at the boys. Jasper placed a cake on the table and started singing happy birthday. "Aww thanks guys this is the best birthday I ever had" I said laughing. "Say thank you Jude" Jasper said. Then I realised on the cake it said happy birthday Jude "Thank you Jude" I looked over at Y/n curled on the bed. I could tell she was hiding something. "Y/n? What's up?" She said quietly "Nothing, I just feel bad because my present is terrible" I got up and looked around "Where is it Y/n because I'm sure it's amazing" She pointed to sewing room, I went inside. I could feel my eyes tear up, she put so much work into this stunning outfit. I blushed a lot seeing all the detail she put in it for me. "Darling I love it!!" I run out and hugged her. "Glad you like Estella" Y/n whispered to me. "What no I love it silly" I replied almost shouting. We both bursted out laughing. Then Jasper placed and letter on the table. "For the both of you" he said proudly. I quickly read it "Shut up your joking right" I looked at Y/n I could see her anxiety started to rise. "Hey hey look at me Darling, I'm going to be with you we got each others backs like always" I said while cupping her face.

Y/n Pov
I dropped down to floor shaking and crying, Estella shouldn't have to protect me all the time, I looked up at boys and I paniced more seeing their worried faces. "Shhh Darling, I got you I promise" Estella said pulling me closer to her. "Calm down I got you" after a while I was back to being myself however Estella wouldn't let me go. I didn't complain about it because I loved being near her she made me feel safe plus we have an amazing connection. "I love you Estella" I whispered to her "I love you to Darling" I smiled but I felt heart broken inside because I know she didn't feel the same way I did about her.

Estella's Pov
I'm glad we get to live our dreams and help each other out all thanks to Jasper. I do truly love Y/n it's just I don't how to tell because what if she doesn't like me back. I don't want to lose her so I'm going to keep quiet about my feelings and keep her safe. We stayed all stayed up all night laughing and having fun. Y/n fell asleep on my lap like always I kissed her forehead and whispered "I love you darling."
