Chapter 3

                   Bella's POV
The next day in school started as usual. The teachers came and taught us, with that the first few periods ended. It was break time so Ella and myself walked down to stairs towards the canteen, we saw many girls rushing towards the notice board. Ella and myself looks at each other and said it together 'the duty list', we went to check out the list and I had the duty to escort the participants of a particular school to the classroom (given to them). Ella had to same duty only difference was that she was in charge of a different school. Every girl was paired with a guy from boys (Rosewood High) school, only difference was that in boys school the class 12's could volunteer to help out but here (girls school) only class 11's could.
       "I'm hungry" said Ella, hearing that it made me realize I was hungry too so we went to the canteen and we eat. The day went as usual and finally school was over.
The next few days in school went really fast and we all were busy with the upcoming fest.... ughhhh too much work (our school Principal wanted us to most of the work all by ourselves so that we don't need to depend on others to get work done which is a good idea but phew I was really tired). Just when I thought we can leave a notice came up which said all of the students have to assemble in the auditorium in 5 minutes. There's going to be a meeting. Wthhhhh are they seriously seriously serious, like ughhh I was literally exhausted. Ella had some work so she left early and told me she'll meet in the auditorium.
As I opened the door most of the students from the boys and girls school were seated. The school Captain told us to sit with our partners. Like seriously whyyy.
It took some time because they called out the names of the students one by one, My name was called out "Isabella and Zachary". I was still waiting for this Zachary guy to appear but he was nowhere to be seen (actually wait I had no idea what he looked like)......
I was too tired to keep standing till he comes so I sat, just when our Teacher was done with calling out the names of each student someone sat beside me. I suppose it's that guy but I didn't bother to look at him. Our Principal greeted us and began speaking about how important this fest is for us and we have to be the best. After the Principal left our school captain took over and briefed us once more about all the rules regarding the events of the fest. She concluded by saying "this fest has to be one of the best we ever had. Now y'all can go and enjoy your snacks and do interact with your partners".
           Just when I was going to get up a voice came "Hey", it was the guy who sat beside me. "Hi" I said, "I'm Zachary but you can call me Zack, I suppose you're Bella right my partner". Ewwww wth did he just call me Bella, we're not even friends. "Umm it's Isabella for you and yes we are going to be working together for the upcoming fest" I said trying not to sound rude and awkward.
      He spoke again saying "shall we get something to eat??", "no thank you, I better leave" that's all I managed to say. This guy was really sweet but I needed to get back to the dorm and get my homework done. "Okay then see you later" and with that I took my bag and left the auditorium. I was checking my phone while walking and then I literally bumped into something, no it was someone. The books in my hand fell and the papers that were in it were scattered. "Ouchhh, do you not have eyes, can't you look where your going" I said picking up my stuff. "Excuse me, what?"  the person in for of me spoke. And it was then I looked up, I've been so busy picking up my stuff that I spoke without looking up and when I finally looked up I saw this really really handsome guy standing in front of me. He was not really tall, but taller then me though. Perfect lean body, perfect brown eyes. In short he was drop dead handsome. He cleared his throat and it was then I managed to get out of my thoughts.
                 "Are you done?", Shit did catch me staring at him ughhh. "what"  I really forgot I was checking him out. "Since you're done checking me out, now move and stop blocking my way". Ignoring him I just walked towards the dorm, I walked really fast. How could I really embarrass myself like that, I feel like crying. When I finally reach the dorm, there is already so much noise because it's Friday night. Some girls are getting ready because we are allowed to go out during the weekend but we need our parents consent and an application has to be sent to the school. I usually don't go out unless I really need to get something but my mom makes sure before I leave the house I have everything I need because she doesn't like the idea of me going out especially when she's not around.
Getting to the locker I get my clothes and go to bath. As I came up Ella ran to me and and said "Belleeee, guess what", she's so excited I pretty sure she's going out. "Okay calm down and tell me what happened", she was out of breath. "I...... I saw.... Shane". Yeah right like I know who she's talking  about. "Who's Shane now", honestly I only heard of a guy named Shane in our school but I've never seen him, I suppose he's one of the most popular guy in our school. But the fact that I haven't yet seen the most popular guy it simply shows how outdated I am, but anyways life's much more than just knowing the popular guy isn't it, I'm just trying to comfort myself though. "What the hell Bella, okay I get it you still don't know much what's going on in school but Bella, seriously??? How come you don't know who Shane is". Gosh is it's such a big deal to not know who the guy is, I just rolled my eyes sighing. "Okay okay I'll tell you, Shane, Shane Gasper  is the most popular guy in school AKA Rap God, he's really good at rapping, super super rich and has all the beautiful girls by his side". That's a lot of information. "Okay" that's all I managed to say. "You're such a turn off  Bella",I surely spoilt her excitement and I have to make it up to her. "Okay I'm sorry, now tell me what about Shane". Just then her phone rang.
She came back and told me she'll tell me some other time because she's going home today for some family gathering. Phewww
So I decided to call my Aunt and tell her I'll be coming over for the weekend because obviously i didn't wanna spend the weekend here. It's not like I don't have friends, I do but maybe I need a break because after the weekend we will have a lot going on in school. After informing my aunt I quickly got dressed and decided I'll have dinner outside, I don't like eating alone but maybe I need time to my self. Telling my other friends goodbye I decided I'll walk since the weather was pleasant, I went to McDonald's and got my food. After eating and paying off I went out and stood there for a while and decided to book a cab. But to my horror it started raining, ugghhh yes it actually was raining. I literally didn't know what exactly to do. So I just started walking and just when I was gonna cross the road a car stopped in front of me.
