He was always here
Playing his saxophone
No matter what
Whether it was rain
Whether it was snow
He was always here
I'd always watch him from across the station
He was always on the other side
But his music brought me comfort
It wasn't that it was joyful
It was the kind that spoke emotion
The kind where you felt what they were feeling
He was beyond talented
But the one thing I never understood was how someone who looked so clean and put together
would be singing for tips at a train station
So out of all the stories of everyone here
His was the one I wanted to know most.
