Oyaaa, who's there listening to this? A human? Or maybe a soul? Heyy wait don't tell me— you're a ghost, aren't you? ("Alex, stop, you're scaring the listener") please, Vergil, I'm recording right now! Okay okay, what were we talking about? Oh, yes yes, hello pretty creature or whatever you are, pay attention to my voice, you will listen to it again. When? But of course in radio afterlife! Wow, you have to teach everything to kiddos nowadays. I am Alex, child of Hades and Persephone, god of afterlife and king of undead. Does it seem scary? C'mon, I'm actually a cinnamon roll. And afterlife is pretty good if you are in Paradise. Trust me, this is what y'all are waiting for. Do you remember Dantis Alagherii? Or Freddie Mercury? Or Micheal Jackson? Of course you do. Right? RIGHT? Well that's not the point. I am also the radio of the afterlife, it's awesome: we do live shows with souls, interviews with famous guests (allow me to explain how epic was that one with Dantis Alagherii)... well all I'm saying is that being dead is not that bad, it's pretty cute to go to Paradise. But in Hell, in Hell is not that good of a situation. Nah, be kind kiddo, otherwise you're really not gonna like what happens next. How to do that? Well, I'm here to talk about my journey in the human world. I literally refused everything a god would like: wine, women, men, wonderful vices, everything. Simply, I'm not into that kind of things... after something about four billions and five millions years it gets boring, y'all mortals are very very lucky when it comes to life: being immortal is not that interesting after a long time. Yes, I have a good godly family, I have many gifts but... I never actually lived. That's exactly why on a beautiful and warm September morning I asked my parents for a little, egoistic wish: <<Mom, Dad, wish me luck 'cause... I'm leaving. I want to know the mortal world.>> Useless to say, they were totally shocked. <<No way, Alex! You are a god, you don't belong to their world, it's too dangerous>> Now y'all I already am guessing what are you going to say: "Alex, your parents are right, why would you even refuse your godly nature just because of satisfying your boredom?" Hear me out again I guess? Being a god ain't that funny: I love all of my godly relatives, but life on the Olympus is absolutely boring, but of course you can't understand. Mortals think that staying forever in a perfect world is nice. It's not. After a long time everything becomes meaningless, empty, boring. For once I wanted to feel just as mortals feel. A mortal life is way more precious than an immortal one, because it has an ending, and you can't understand the meaning of life until you experience death. And that's exactly what I explained to my parents. At first they didn't take it very well, but in the end they let me do that <<Alex Nakahara, promise that whatever is gonna happen, you're still going to come back alive from your journey.>> These were their words. I nodded, then I waved at them for the very last time and went straight to my bedroom. I put on a black t-shirt, a squared sweater, black jeans, long pumpkin songs and my beautiful high black converse, then went to sleep, and when I woke up, I was in the place I wanted it to be. I was in a park, and there were mortals. I finally did it.
