Favorite Crime| Scott Reed//Montgomery de la Cruz

Prologue

Riley Schreave caught the attention of many people her first day of freshmen year.  With her stunning blue eyes and Long blonde hair swaying behind her.  It also helped that she had a glow up that summer and she walked into school alongside Bryce Walker.  Who was only a sophomore and was already king of the school.  As she walked along side her two best friends since third grade Justin Foley and Bryce Walker she caught the eye of three athletes specifically.
Jeff Atkins, Montgomery de la Cruz and Scott Reed. 
Two of which would approach her that day and three that would probably change her life forever. 

Between the sounds of chatter in the hallways it was clear that almost everyone eyes followed them.  Bryce and Justin walked the innocent blue eyes blonde to her locker then left her to find Justin's.  Riley took her locker combo out of the pocket of her jean skirt and started to twist the lock once she set in her combo she attempted to open her locker. It wouldn't open. She yanked and yanked but it wouldn't open. She then let out an annoyed huff.  What a great start to the rest of high school she thought.

"You have to bang on it."

Riley turned around to be met with a pair of blue eyes that belonged to a brunette boy wearing a letterman's jacket standing right behind her.
The blonde scrunched up her eyebrows and let out a "huh?"
He chuckled  "The locker you have to bang on it twice before you open it I had it last year."
She let out a little nervous laugh "oh right thank you um" she trailed off unsure of his name.
He caught on quickly and introduced himself " I'm jeff Atkins" he then pointed to a pretty brunette girl behind him that she hadn't noticed standing there. Was she standing there the whole time? "And this is my girlfriend Leah". The girl Leah then proceeded to send Riley a sweet smile, small wave and let out a quiet hi.

The blonde smiled back and said " hi I'm riley" turned back to her locker banged on it twice so it would open proceeded to put her stuff away then turned back around.
"So Jeff Atkins and his girlfriend Leah would either of you want to walk me to room 105 because I have no clue where I'm going".
They both let out a small laugh then nodded and started walking in the direction of room 105.  On the way Leah made sure to make a comment about how she had the teacher last year for math and that she sucked.  That was the beginning of the great friendship between Jeff Atkins and Riley Schreave if only it could have lasted longer.
