Chapter 5

Brooklyn's POV****

We get into the car and put our seat belts on. As we reach Jason's house, I see some maids waiting for us there. The car stopped right in front of the main door and we got out. The maids took our luggage and settled it in each one's room. We enter in the house, before I say anything. Jaxon started running here and there screaming "Me is in JJ's home". From living room to kitchen and then to balcony, from balcony to kitchen and back to the living room, screaming again and again.

The sight made everyone laugh. It made me relaxed. 'Now, I don't really have to worry to much about his upbringing here.' I tell myself and sigh. Luna somehow understood what I was thinking, So she take my hand and squeeze it a little assuring me everything is going to be okay.

I don't know, how she does it. She doesn't even have to speak to make me comfortable. She just dose those small gestures and it makes me calm and relax. She is my rock, from the last 7 years. I don't know what I would have done, if it wasn't for her. No one just leave there entire life at one place and move to a whole different state for their friend. But she did and that also for me. She means to me a lot.

I smile at her and give her ' I'm fine' look. She understand it and smile back. We all head to the kitchen as the flight made all us hungry and sleepy. We sit on the chairs and in less then 3 minutes our food is served. There is bacon and salad in the lunch. We eat our lunch and decide to take a nap before the Ball.

My and Luna's room are right next to each other and a little away from Jason's and Jenna's room, which is good. Cause I don't want my son listening his uncle and aunt's screaming all night. He is still too small to have his ears ruined.

4 P.M. in the evening****

We are currently in Jenna's bedroom trying to get ready for the Ball. Her tummy is showing a little too much for 2 months pregnant so she can't find a dress for herself. She has tried 5 dresses till now. I can honestly feel what is is going through. First changing from one dress to another is too irritating and with the pregnancy hormones it only get worse.

"Ugh, why is it so difficult to find a simple fitting dress. I swear I am about to rip every dress down." Jenna scoffed. "I know how you are felling, Jen. But just relax there are still some left. Try them out. I'm sure you'll find one." I try to cheer her mood but failed terribly. After trying around 7 to 8 dresses she found a pretty short nude pink dress which comes to her knees. It looks mesmerizing on her. I and Luna changed into your dresses and start doing our make up and hairstyle.

We both let our hair down and do light makeup. When we all are done, we grab our purses and make our way to the living room. As we enter, I see Jason and Jaxon wearing same black 3 piece suit. Jason all in his black suit, big tie, big shoes and hair perfectly styled. On the other hand, I see Jaxon in a cute little black suit and small bow. He's hair is normally done and his shoes are so small, it makes me want to be in this moment forever. I don't want him to grow nor this time to go, but it really doesn't work our way.

"Momma, how do I look? Uncle JJ dlessed me up." Jax say as he see me staring at him. He comes near him and hugs me. "My baby, you look so handsome. I have to keep all the ladies away from you from now on." I tease him knowing how shy he is. He close his eyes and put his hands on each eyes covering them. "You look bootifull, momma." He complements me back. I chuckled at his words. "It's beautiful, baby and thank you." "Opps, sowwy momma." He says patting his head. "It's okay, baby." I tell him and we all walk out of the house.

The car is already waiting for us at the main entrance. We all get into the car and in less than 20 minutes, we reach at the mansion. The decoration of main entrance is so beautiful it made me speechless. We make our way to the bouncers and show the invitation. They check some information and let us in. As we enter the Hallway I see a handsome man all suited up coming our way. His eyes were dark brown colored and light beard on his face, a small scar on this right eyebrow made him look only more handsome.

"Thanks for coming, Jason, Jenna and.." "Brooklyn, I'm Jason's sister." I cut him short and give him a simple small smile. "Gabriel, It's good seeing you face to face" He replied and returned my gesture. I looked down at Jaxon "baby introduce yourself to the sir here" "Hello, Mister. Me Jakson." Jaxon said taking out his hand for his pocket and trying to look at Gabriel's eyes. "Baby, it's Jaxon." I corrected him and picked him up, so Gabriel can shake his hand. To my surprise, Gabriel took Jaxon in his arms and hugged him showing love and said, "Hello Jaxon. You know I've listened so much about you. But I can say that is really nothing compared to how little and cute you are." It made me and Jason laugh a little.

Luna was already lost in Gabriel's beauty. She was only with us physically , her mind was somewhere and I knew where. I could see Gabriel caught her but didn't say anything. To make the situation less awkward, I introduced her " This is Luna, my best friend." "Hello Luna, I have to say. You look more beautiful then your photo in the magazine." He said shaking her hand. "I... Um.... Thanks I guess for the compliment and also for inviting us to this ball." She tried to talk normally, well as normally as she could but her body language said it all. "Yes, thank you. This is really very beautiful. The decorations, music everything is amazing." I said. He chuckled and replied "Thank you very much. All the decoration is done by my mother. She'll be here soon."

As he finished his sentence a lady came and stood by his side. She was tall and beautiful. Her hair was light golden coloured and came down to her waist. Her short dress hugged her perfectly. As soon as Gabriel notice her he introduced her to us. "Meet Kaylee, my fiance. Kaylee, you know Jason. She is his sister Brooklyn and her friend Luna." "Hello, I didn't know Jason has a sister." "I'm his step sister." I answered her. "Wait I know you. You were in that magazine last week, both of you. Pediatrician Brooklyn Blake, right?" She asked.

And if I'm not wrong you are the number 1 Psychologist in the Continent. The one who cracked MBBS at a very young age. I've read so much about you. You are an inspiration." Her eyes lit up when she was talking about Luna. Anyone could see it. "Thank you so much. It really means a lot." Luna replied with smile not knowing what else to say.

15 Minutes of dancing and drinking later****

"Jason, have you seen Jax?" I ask him concerned because I haven't seen Jaxon in last 8 minutes. "No, he was with you and Luna. I and Jenna were talking to Cameron." He replied and rubbed my shoulder knowing how stressed it made me. "Jason, I haven't seen him in last 8 minutes. He was with us but then he wanted to stay with Jenna so h....he came here." I tried my best not to cry here but just thinking about something happening to Jaxon scared me to death. "Hey, don't cry we'll find him no time. Let me just inform Gabriel." He said and leaved me and Jenna. "I swear, if something happen to him, I'll die." I shuttered. "Brook, don't worry. Jaxon is a brave boy. Have faith, he'll be safe." Jenna reassured me and hugged me. Jason came back and said "Don't worry he is in the balcony on 2nd floor with Kenneth. Gabriel saw them. Jax was lost." "Then who are we waiting for? Let's go there." I asked and both of them nodded and we headed to the balcony.
