Chapter 2

(5 years later)

(3rd person POV)

It's been 5 years since Y/N was born and he has grown into a cute young lad.

Esdeath was happy to see her little spawn but she was still a general so sometimes she had to leave Y/N alone. As much as it hurt her heart to leave the poor boy she did have a way of protecting him in a way via a small yet lethal ice bird. But as Esdeath entered her home she saw her son wearing a familiar jacket.

(Pretend Y/N is in the jacket instead of Tatsumi)

When Esdeath saw her son in the jacket it made her shed a tear. Y/N would turn around and hug his mother as she looked down and smiled at her ice prince.

(Esdeath's POV)

I was happy to see my little boy but seeing him in that jacket brung back memories. I saw Y/N tilt his head "Mama why are you crying?" questioned Y/N. At first I was confused until I touched my cheek and felt a tear. I wiped the tears in my eyes away and picked up my little snowflake "It's nothing my ice prince I'm just happy to see you~" I said smiling. Y/N smiled back and while he wasn't looking I deformed the ice bird "Tell me darling are you hungry?" I questioned my snowflake. My boy nodded and I sat him on my lap and unbuttoned my shirt "Latch on Y/N and I will tell you a story" I said. Y/N nodded and latched onto my left nipple and started sucking on it "Once upon a time there was a girl and at a young age this girl learned that she could only rely on her strength and nothing else until years later she met a warrior this warrior changed the girls view entirely and the two at first were enemies until one day after a long battle they fell in love and had a son but sadly the warrior sacrificed himself for his family leaving the girl with nothing but her child" I said with some reality tied to this story. Y/N stopped sucking on my nipple and swallowed my breast milk "Um mama I have a question" said Y/N. My eyes widened "And what would that be my little prince?" I said curiously. Y/N  scratched the back of his head "Well who is my papa?" questioned Y/N. As soon as he asked his question I felt my pupils dilate 'Shit I should've expected this to happen!' I thought to myself. I cleared my throat "Y/N your father's name was Tatsumi and he was the love of my life we shared a night have passion but sadly before you were born he passed away and the jacket you are wearing was his and sometimes you remind me of your father" I said with sadness. When I looked my snowflake he looked perplexed yet understanding and he hugged me "I'm sorry if I make you sad when I act like papa" said Y/N. I immediately hugged the boy "No no don't feel sorry Y/N it actually makes me happy knowing that your like your father" I said stroking Y/N's hair. I picked up Y/N and headed upstairs to our room since I didn't feel comfortable with him having his own room after the thief incident that happened when he was born "Anyways it's time for you to go to bed mister you start school tomorrow" I instructed Y/N. I decided that he needed to go to school reluctantly of course but he does need to meet children his age and I can't teach him myself since I have my duties as a general. Soon Y/N was in his pajamas and I wasn't wearing any clothes since I personally believe it's better to sleep nude than in clothes that might cause you to become overheated. Me and Y/N where in bed together as he fell asleep on my chest and I looked at my spawn and couldn't think of anything else.
