the hike

THESE TAKE PLACE RIGHT AFTER THE PART WHERE THEY GET BACK TOGETHER!! JUST PRETEND THE SCOUT NEVER CAME AND THE SHOW WAS IN OCTOBER. 

Ricky 

"Come on dude! I'm trying to come up with a good idea." I say to big red. 

"Don't worry so much! You've been dating Nini for like ever so like just do a movie night or something." He replies. 

"We did that last week! This needs to be special!" I try my best not to sound annoyed but big red makes it hard.

"Dude why does it need to be special again?" he asks as if I haven't already brought up why like a million times. 

"Because I love her and she deserves a nice fun date."  Just then a idea strikes!

Nini 

 "A hike? Really?" I say to Ricky. 

"Yeah totally! Trust me it will be fun." He replies. I don't know about a hike in the middle of November but how could I say no to those brown eyes. I go back home and call kourtney. 

"He wants to go on a hike." I say to my best friend kourtney 

"A hike? In salt lake city. In november? Girl is he on drugs or something?" 

"Kourtney!"

 "What? That's just crazy and you know it." she says. 

"Okay so maybe it's a bit weird but I think it's sweet that he wants to go on a date." I say goodbye and hang up. What do I wear on a date in November. Normally I would wear something cute but I don't want ruin it on a hike. 

*incoming call from: Ricky<3*

"Hey nini ready for our hike?" he says. 

"Yeah totally!" I try to sound as excited as I can.

 "Great! Pick you up around 4pm?" he asks. 

"Sounds good!" I say. I plop down on my bed in despair. Why can't we just do a movie night. I glance over at my clock that now reads 3:42. I better go downstairs and try to suck in as much warmth as possible. At exactly 4 Ricky knocks on my door. 

"Ready to go?" I nod and we get into his little orange car. After a few minutes we arrive at this random forest.

 "Ricky are you sure you know where we are?" I ask as we trudge up the mountain. 

"Nini calm down I know exactly where I am" *arghhh* he trips on a stick when he says that. I can't help my laughing. He looks up at me with that goofy grin of his. 

"Just a little farther". We come around a turn and it reveals a breath taking veiw. 

"Ricky Bowen! This is so pretty!" I say while jumping into his arms. He hugs me extra tight. We sit down and start to eat some of the food we brought. It's cold up here and I think he sees me shiver because he moves closer and wraps his coat around the both of us. He doesn't say anything but I look up at his brown eyes and instantly fall in love with him all over again. He looks down at me and I lean in for a kiss. His lips are like velvet. I love the way he grabs my face when we kiss.
