FIONA'S DREAM OR NIGHTMARE:

Running and gasping for air, Fiona ran as fast as she could through the dense woods of the land Aah and fleeing away from the unknown danger gaining on her heels. Desperately, pulling down the branches down in front of her and breaking them , jumped and threw the matted leaves and branches back behind her to slow down her assailant. Her heart beating wildly in her chest , Fionna continued to leap further into the forest, spreading debris in her wake to dissuade her pursuer. ( How is this person or thing keeping up with me? ) Pushing wildly through the next patch of dark dense forest, Fiona didn't care when a few knurled branches scratched at her arms and legs. Pain threatened to slow her down, she pushed past it needing to survive whatever danger was pursuing vehemently from behind. The sound of breaking branches and crunching of leaves stopped suddenly behind her.
( No, no, no . ) She thought. Hating the eerie silence even more, Fiona tried to calm her thundering heartbeat by taking a deep breath, but fear was not giving her a moment's peace. She had never been so scared before in her life. Sweat dripped down her forehead, as she strained to listen for any sound and found no comfort in the silence that continued to grow. Her own erratic breathing became like thunder in her ears. ( Where's the noise? Not even a breeze?)
With shaking hands, the blonde adventuress risked taking a step forward, and regretted that decision immediately! When suddenly a dark , tall figure sprang up in front of her and lunged to grab her arm as she stepped backward, out of its reach. Growling, the figure lunged again while red glowing eyes bore into her own. Fiona's heart skipped a beat and she took that chance and jumped backward out the monster's claws. When she did , found herself falling backwards and couldn't stop her momentum downward!
Racing past Fiona's field of vision was the sky and ground clashing all around her, pain wracked her body as the ground pounded into her mercilessly. As she tumbled down the steep hill, screaming, she thought desperately how she could stop herself and prevent her imminent death at the bottom. Frantically, Fiona grabbed any branch and glob of dirt racing past, anything to slow her descent. Finally, she slowed to a dip in the ground and tumbled softly out into a moonlit clearing.
Everything hurt! Still alive,Fiona struggled to lift her head as it pounded painfully and her limbs burned with searing pain. When she struggled to move the rest of her body, pain shot through her right leg. She cried out, like a wounded animal. Somewhere above her, she heard a dark, low chuckle and familiar voice. " Poor little lamb, it's a shame you can't run away from me this time. " It can't be! She froze in horror, as fear gripped her with its icy fingers. Turning her head slightly, Fiona spotted the monster coming nearer to her, with its hungry red eyes and wriggled her upper body in futile attempt to escape. No it can't be Marshall! He's not a monster! Not usually. Although, she found herself in the Nightosphere, without an explanation.
Pulling the young girl to the cold , soft ground in a monstrous grip a series of bony skeletal arms and hands , sprouted from the ground , and held her tight. Fiona screamed again and breathed in the musty , earth's atmosphere in ragged breaths. Misty claws curled around her feet and hands, and threatened to engulf her. As she beheld the emerging figure from the mist, the dense air threatened to suffocate her. With a triumphant chuckle, Marshall towered his tall form over her mangled and bleeding body. ( No, no, please, Marshall! Not like this! ) Her thoughts screamed. " No where to run, Fiona. No one escapes the Nightosphere and no one escape from me. You certainly can't hide from me anymore. " Marshall triumphantly announced, with a victorious air.
Faster than she could blink,
Marshall pounded the ground with open palms dangerously near both sides her head. " I 've always wanted to do this, ever since the day we met." He whispered near her ear, menacingly. Horror gripped her heart, as Fiona watched Marshall sigh with devilish glee and revealed his long canine fangs. " Please, Marshall, please no! " She whimpered, feebly. Then, surprising her he crashed his lips into hers, cold and powerful! He held her there breathless for what seemed like forever, and then, broke the kiss fiercely and wrenched her head to the side to bury his fangs into her neck. Fiona screamed, as she felt her blood being pulled away from her body and pulled against the imprisoning bony claws. " Marshall! No, Marshall, stop! " She screamed out. Strangely, he did stop, but only to lick up the side of her face , splatting her own blood all over her left cheekbone, and then proceeded to to wiggle a blood finger in her ear! ( What the?! ) Does Marshall do--

Waking up with a start, Fiona snapped straight up out her comforter and opened her eyes. While she caught her breath, she heard a hearty laugh close by. " Hahaha! I knew that would wake you up, honey! I just had to do that. " Cake laughed, inspired by her corky sense of humor and teased Fiona. Fiona sighed, not impressed. " Veeeery funny, you big furball! I could've had a heart start because of you. Blah! Your furry paw doesn't belong in my ear. Ewwww." Fiona complained, wiping the saliva off the shell of her ear and glared at Cake. While straightening her comforter and pretending not to be flustered by what just happened, Fiona looked away from her best friend , briefly.
" You're lucky, Cake, you and I are best friends. Because, if we weren't, " Fiona paused for emphasis, " I would've dipped you in bubblegum goo and stuck you to a bon bon tree. " Fiona finished. She stood up in silence and walked over to the table where berry pastries and tea awaited. " Ouch, honey! " Cake laughed. " Why so upset? Didn't sleep much last night?"
Fiona then turned her back on whom she supposed was Cake , but some odd reason Cake just wasn't Cake. Especially, when she looked back over her shoulder and glanced briefly at her best friend. There was a mischievous glint sparkled there behind those friendly feline eyes. And then, Cake pounced on Fiona from behind and massaged her shoulders into magical submission. She went to protest the gesture from her overly loving best friend's affection, but the words stuck in her throat in an irritating way.
" Cake -C-Cake, you can st--" Fiona stopped short of what she was about to say, when assailed by the overpowering coolness and onslaught of the paws/ hands on her languid muscles. " Ohhh, goodness." Fiona moaned, and screamed inwardly ( Quit it, me. You don't see Cake that way. But, I do see--) " I'm not Cake, Fiona. You know that to be true. " The deep male voice came from behind her. The adventuress was at a disadvantage, and her body was betraying her to the much ministrations of the Vampire King. She felt warm and feverish, muscles languid and waiting to submit to him. " I..." She started to utter something, and then couldn't. ( Wake up, Fiona!) Huh? Cake? And with a start , she did.
