Normally couples hug and kiss.
Say a few sappy words until the other is a blushing mess.
Simple things that are cute and funny and sickeningly sweet-
"YEA! RIGHT THERE! EAT IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT"
Anyone with enough sense would've just ended it all by now.
"SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT! THATS MY GOODGIRL"
Traumatized beyond repair by the scene in front of them...
Sana looked at her phone, eyes glazed lifelessly when a notification reminded her that her 'Payment went through successfully' for Amazon's same day shipping.
"Bleach?", Mina murmured, chin rested against Sana's head. "Make that two"
Sana wasn't a rude person. Didn't like to be rude.
Her resolve for things consisted of hugs and sunny smiles. Things nowhere near anger, spite and a sudden urge to yank someone's hair.
That someone being-
"Jihyo, why the fuck are YOU here", again, Sana didn't like to come off rude. But their little rendezvous the other day left a bitter taste in her mouth.
Mina was the first to react, then the others, and suddenly the night felt entirely too long before it had even begun.
"Um... are you two...like, okay?", ever the church girl, Dahyun wanted nothing more than peace and love. "If there's something you guys needa discuss, please feel free to let it out. Holding in emotions is never healthy"
Sana had to admit, Dubu was right.
But slamming Jihyo against this table sounded better.
"Jihyo, be a doll and tell everyone why we're 'holding in our emotions', yea?", Sana smiled, dabbing her mouth with a napkin.
No one has ever seen this side of Sana.
Ever.
And God forbid they ever have to see it again.
Finally fed up, Momo slammed her fork down, hands clenched. "Don't. Not now. Just don't...please", her pleading voice did something to both Sana and Jihyo's heart.
Momo is the last person they'd want to upset.
Momo best girl. Fax no printer.
Jihyo was quick to apologize, followed by Sana, who said it in their mother tongue. "I-it's nothing, really. I'm sorry for ruining tonight's dinner-"
"You did no such thing, cuzzo", Chaeyoung interrupted. She knew the history between Sana and her cousin, but never liked picking sides. As long as people owed up to their mistakes, and grew from them, there was nothing more to do but forgive and move on. "It may not seem like it, but everyone's glad you're here. No cap"
The night went on like that. Small smiles here and there. Bubbly laughter in the air. For someone so keen on slamming Jihyo into her pile of mashed potatoes, Sana was actually enjoying herself.
She wouldn't admit it tho.
Whenever Jihyo stole a glance at her, sneaky feet grazing the inside of her thigh, she'd act like it didn't bother her.
Sana wondered if she should take up acting someday.
