And now for something a little OOC from me, but something I've wanted to write for a long while. This was inspired by a DxD story called Lifting the Curse which inspired me to write this little short story. So let's begin with Hanzo's leading lady, Asuka.
===================================
It all happened in the blink of an eye. As a trained ninja with plenty of experience, you and the Hanzo team, which were a group of five shinobi girls, had just come face to face with a giant demonic being. The battle itself was a major struggle for everyone involved.
But it was you who not only took the full brunt of its desperate attack, but it allowed the Hanzo girls to sweep in and finish it off, before the deadly being roared as it began to crumble away into the void of darkness, never to rise up again.
However, before it was completely gone, you felt your body being hoisted down, as if the void was attempting to knock you off the edge and drag you down into the unknown. But it wasn't, instead, you felt a serious amount of darkness swirling into your body.
And then, a weakened yet grim voice spoke.
"Enjoy your moment of victory, shinobi. For it will be your last, before this curse takes full control of you."
The pain you suddenly felt was far too great, and you collapsed to the side, ignoring the cries and worries of the girls who were in shock before agreeing to get you out of there.
*Time skip, brought to you by a chibi Y/N being carried to Hanzo academy.*
After what seemed like hours had passed, you slowly opened your eyes and woke up to find yourself in a small yet well furnished room. You remembered that this was your home, and it was given to you, the day you enrolled at Hanzo Academy.
You still remember that day fondly. New ground had been broken, meaning that you were going to be the first male member of team Hanzo. You were given a warm greeting from the Hanzo girls...well, almost a warm greeting.
Asuka was happy to befriend you, as was Ikaruga although she was a little more reserved. Katsuragi on the other hand had a huge grin, as if already planning to tease you to no end. Yagyu was a little cold at first, whilst Hibari was very happy in getting to know you a lot.
But despite that, you put in the effort to get along well with each of them, and it was that effort that led you to working together in going on tough missions and taking on dangerous challenges. Such as the showdown you had the previous night.
You were then shaken out of those memories, when you heard a door knock from downstairs. You got out of your bedroom and down the hallway to the front door.
"Huh? Who is it?" You asked.
"Don't be alarmed, Y/N. It's only me."
The door opened and in came Kiriya, the man in charge of Hanzo.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
"Ugh...feel like I've been cursed or something." You answered.
He raised an eyebrow. "Oh, so you already figured it out?"
You looked at him, feeling surprised. "Wait, you serious?"
"It is true, young man." He hummed silently.
"What about the girls?"
"They've all fully recovered, no need to worry over them. However, they are coming to terms with a serious issue at the moment."
You looked down. "Is it to do with me?"
He nodded. "Indeed. They reported to me over what happened and that you had taken the fall, giving the shinobi girls the chance to defeat it for good. After discussing it with Asuka's grandfather, we were able to conclude what kind of curse has been put in you."
