Chapter 5: The Confession

It has been two months since I started working for the Jonas Brothers and fell for the youngest. We spent so much time together now, working, schooling, hanging out. I and Dani get to enjoy concerts every now and then whenever the brothers rehearse or perform, I'm with them basically 24/7. I've grown so much closer to Nick, maybe it's because we are the same age, we study together and unlike his brothers he don't have a girlfriend to go out with.

I can't take it anymore. My feelings are growing every day, the high amount of emotion I'm keeping inside feels like as if it's going to burst right out of me. He is so beautiful, his hair, his eyes, his smile. He always good to me and helps me, he is one of my best friends, he always support me, I care about him but why can't I just come out and say it? Why do I feel like something will go wrong? Like he would not see me as more than a friend or worker. Am I even worth him?

I was at the Jonas house working on their schedule for the upcoming week. The brothers were at the studio recording a new song and Denise was at the park with Frankie. Dani was also here, she wa practically living with them. I was lost in my thoughts when the doorbell rang. "Sarah can you get that please?" Dani said from the kitchen. "Sure" I said and went to open the door.

I opened the door and saw someone I would've been happy to see two months ago, but honestly I wasn't thrilled to see her. There was Selena Gomez in one of those pretty girls dress. After meeting Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and other Disney people it didn't seem like such a big deal anymore. "Hi I'm here to see Nick" she said. "I'm sorry he is not here" I said. Honestly I was never a Selena fan and she coming here to meet her ex whom she broke up with a few months ago, I don't find it very cool.

"And you are?" She asked. "Sarah, their assistant" I said. "Oh anyways I want to see Nick" she said again. "The brothers are not at home, they had work" I said, not wanting to give away information about the new song. "That's okay I can wait till they come back" she said. "Sorry he can't meet you today, they are very busy. I'm sure you understand" I said. "I'm sure he can make the time to see me" she said. "I don't think so. They have a pretty tight schedule" I said trying to be polite but she was getting on my last nerves. "Alright I'll see him tomorrow" she said. "I'm sorry they don't have meeting you on tomorrow's schedule" I said. "Okay then fix a meeting" she said. "Their schedule for the week is ready it can't be changed now" I said. "What's your problem assistant? Do your job and fix me a meeting with them this week" she said. We were arguing just when Dani walked by.

"Hey Dani, can I see Nick?" Selena asked her. "Talk to her about that" Dani said pointing towards me and walked away. "Ugh you stupid assistant you're useless. I'll call him myslef" she said and took out her phone. "Don't disturb him he is busy" I said and grabbed her phone and tried to take it from her but she maintained the grip. "Leave my phone back you psycho" she said which was enough to drive me crazy. I let go of her phone and punched her in the face. She got made and hit me in the face with her purse and one of those decoration gems cut me a little. I was about to give her another punch when Dani threw herself in between us.

"STOP IT!!!" Dani yelled "that's enough. Have you two lost your minds??!!" She said. "Your friend started it" Selena said. "She abused me first" I said. "You were trying to take my phone away" she said. "ENOUGH ALREADY!!" Dani said. "I'm sorry Selena, but Nick is not here. If you wanna talk to him call yourself okay?" She said to her. "Okay" Selena said and left. "And you" she said looking at me with her arms crossed. "I'm sorry Dani but she was getting on my last nerves" I said. "I understand but remember you are not dating him" she said. "I know, sorry" I said. "Okay now go finish up your work before Paul comes back" she said. "Okay" I said and went back to work.
