The night sky was aglow with gleaming little stars that pulled up the image of bright white.
Moonlit streets were occupied with tiny puddles of the summer rain that flushed over the city early morning.Herin's eyes sparkled watching the puddles of water shine under the misty light.
She was squatted down near the puddles, feet still on the ground as her arms placed over her bended knees. Strings of her inky black hair fell over her face while she eyed down at the satiny water."Here."
Taewon extended out his hand that was holding a raspberry ice cream cup.Herin gladly took hold of the small cup, standing up straight and peeling off the cover.
The two siblings stared ahead in comfortable silence, standing side by side in front of the convenience store as they ate their ice creams.
"There,"
Taewon broke the tranquility, throwing his finished cup in the trash can. "I got you ice cream, Now go home. I have important business at work."Herin's lips formed a natural pout at his words, gazing at the alluring view. "No, Let's stay here a little more..."
Taewon chuckled and ruffled her hair, "Go home soon Rin."
Herin flashed a smile at his disappearing figure that walked out the street to his car.Stretching her arms out in air, she threw away her finished cup and snuggled deep into her thin sweater.
It wasn't ice cold nor was it burning hot. Just warm breezes passing by and hitting her tenderly.
She walked freely out the street way, coveting to stroll down the forest path, Which wasn't really a dark bushy forest but a lovely one with bloomed flowers and peaceful trees along with it's watery grass.
Her most favorite thing about the secluded forest, was the glassy lake that situated in the middle of the forest, surrounded by nature's enthralling art.Just the thought of all that being shined by the glossy moon above, Was fascinating for the girl.
Rustling her way into the path as her shoe slapped against the grass, she found herself being mentally lost in the beauty that stood in front of her.
An un-audible gasp left her luscious lips while staring at the huge trees that created shadows and covered the sky above, magnificently.Stars that shined all over, reflected in the girls orbs while she walked under the beaming moonlight.
As her gaze lowered with each step she took further, she caught glimpse of a silhouette standing in front of the lake.
His head slightly lifted, letting the light shine on his skin.
The familiar white hair of his making
Herin stop in her tracks. His eyes were closed and his figure stood still, looking vastly serene.
He was in a state of solitary as the wrinkles of his forehead was unseen along by the absence of his clenched jaw and lethal expression.A tiny curve on his lips was cordial which was unlike his usual self.
Renjun was reposeful in the moment.Herin's own lips pulled up to a wide smile watching him as he had no signs of wrath or rudeness.
He looks very peaceful...
I should probably leave.
Herin sighed, turning around and walking back.Unfortunately,
Her sleek back shoes came in contact with a crisped up leaf, crushing it and violating the deep silence. She froze for a second as the noise echoed in the hushed forest, Causing Renjun to snap his head at the sudden sound.
He eyed her figure standing behind the towering tree. Her flowing, peach skirt peeking from the tree trunk while her sweater paws clutched it's wood.
Renjun scoffed as Herin thought she was hiding very well."I can see you."
She flinched at his low and thick voice. Slowly, stepping aside from the tree and into sight. She strolled over to him as he was facing the glass looking lake. The floral scent of raspberries that she wore filtered him in, The usual black leather jacket sat on his shoulders while a new piercing grazed his ear lobe.
Herin cleared her throat,
"...How are you doing?"
"Fine."Letting out a soft hum in response, she waited for him to ask her the same question.
Dow eyes glancing every second to see his careless features, she sighed in the awkward silence.Herin chuckled,
"You know...A lot of people find peace by looking at trees and oceans."
She bent down near the lake, fingers gently swaying in it's clean water.Renjun watched her do so, his eyes watching her benign expression.
Her smile glowed even more as she fiddled with the water.
"And I have to admit, you can find peace in nature...It's so beautiful."Renjun rolled his eyes at her sparkling eyes that bored into the lake.
Turning her head to the side, Herin looked at Renjun's still figure that had his hands effortlessly in his pockets."What about you, What do you find peaceful?"
Her warm gaze and mild smile made him want to huff out loud, her altruistic words and questions caused an irritation in him.
"When you shut up."Herin's smile slightly dropped down as she let out a soft "oh", turning her eyes back to the view in front.
Renjun sighed at her callowness.
"I don't find peace in stuff like this."The miniature smile that played on Herin's lips widened a bit, resting her chin on her arm that was wrapped around her knees as she carried on with swaying the water by her right hand.
"You looked like you were at peace when standing here.."
Renjun glared at her side profile,
"Don't assume things so fast."
"I'm not assuming...Just saying."She bit her lip while concentrating at the water.
"Whatever. You should go home, we have school Tomorrow."
Renjun laced his fingers through the silver white hair of his, exhaustion dripping out his tone.Herin hummed.
Eyes not leaving the comfort of watching the flowing water.Renjun eyed her with a demented face. Thoughts being rummaged by her child like actions and kind behavior, Despite his behavior.
His hair gently pushed away from his features as the hot wind passed through the two.He let out a bitter chuckle, shaking his head side ways while walking towards the pathway and leaving.
