When I thought of corners, I always thought of Deeks. I had read about them in school, but never had I seen them in real life. They are even scarier than I had ever imagined. As we stepped quietly through the dark, I heard crunching noises. They were a tiny bit louder than ours. I heard more crunching, then it went silent. The cold air was rushing through my hair. It was chilling. I walked slower. The gang was now in front of me. I continued to hear the crunching noise. I stopped. There was a bush cover in dark green leaves. That was where the crunch was coming from. I grabbed a stick from the ground and used it as a weapon. I called out to the others. They didn't hear me. Then, from out of nowhere, a Deek jumped from the bush and landed on top of me.
I woke up to a startling scream. It was my own. We were in a cave somewhere, away from home. The gang was with me and heard my scream.
"Dude, are you alright?" Asks Aries.
"Yeah. Bad dream I guess." I say.
"Yeah dude. They suck!" Replies Aries.
"Um, By the way, where are we?" Asks Libra.
"We are half way there." Replies Virgo.I walk towards a large sandstone rock. I place my hands on it and look out. Before me, I see the beautiful Ocean. The clouds were creating vibrant colours of pink and reds. The sun was a beautiful yellow, and the sky was filled with it. I looked back to see Aries trying to sneak up on me. He paused, hoping I would turn around.
"Boo." I said flatly.
"Reeeeeeeeee!" Aries screams, tumbling backwards. I laughed, and walked over to him to help him up. I grabbed his hand.
"Hehe." Aries muttered.
Virgo sighed. Scorpio giggled. Libra was on the floor.
"Boys." Said Gemini.
I walked to towards Leo. He was focused on something on the ground.
"Hey Leo." I say
"Hey, Can. I found this weird thing in the rock."
