Why didn't I file them appropriately, Kim mutters as she bends down to gather the papers scattered all over the coffee table in the vice chairman's office. " Kimy! Mr Young wants you at the cafeteria right this moment," said Sofia the secretary from the production department and Kim's closest colleague at the firm. What's wrong now, she thinks as she stuffs the pieces of paper into a folder and places it under her right armpit to free her hands up so she could manage to carry with her the vice chairman's favourite coffee mug and a bunch of other files. She ran out of the office barely being able to keep up with herself in those heels.

"You called for me Mr Young " said Kim softly as she stood behind this tall elegant man who seemed to be indulged in the cafeterias menu. " The food is rather boring, how about we go out for lunch instead" said the vice chairman as he turned swiftly towards his overly burdened secretary. "oh my! You look like you have a lot to do Ms Kim" he said with a chuckle looking quite amused at the sight in front of him. "I'll leave you to it then" he started to walk away and then paused , " I do not think I will be needing the mug for lunch Ms Kim". What's wrong with me today she thought as she watched the chairman disappear into the crowd outside the building. Ms Kim had been on her toes considering the early opening of the businesses art gallery and was exhausted, explaining her poor performance at the office today.

" kimy what's your plan for lunch today?" Said Sofia as she noticed kim dragging her legs back towards her station "oh Sofi , can I even think to eat, at this rate, I might not even be done before the demo date," "well of course to work well you need to eat kimy don't be so hard on your self, its been hard for all of us these past few days, that chairman of yours must have been out of his mind to move up the opening date." " You speak as if you don't know the man" they both chuckle as kim drops the files on her desk and remains with the coffee mug in her hand, " oh Kimy you didn't! " "Its that bad Sofi, coffee at lunch what was I thinking ?" They both laugh at the subject and Sofia takes a hold of herself before she began to speak again, " on the coffee subject I errrm-" she hesitates to complete her sentence " have a coffee date tomorrow afternoon " she completes quickly and gestures jazz hands. "No way, No way!" screeched Kim as she twirled around with Sofia. "Exciting lunch break isn't it ladies?" Mr Brad, head of the production department and Sofia's boss, said as he walked past them. The ladies got a hold of themselves and Sofia takes leave from Kim's table and scurries after Mr Brad.

"Ms Sofia," said Mr Brad enthusiastically." Yes Sir?" she replied after clearing her throat. "Are the papers ready for my signature?" " yes they are", " then why are they not at my table Sofia? Do your job first before sharing your excitement with the other department secretaries." " My apologies sir, I shall bring them over immediately," she said already heading towards the door. "Ms Sofia!" he called out to her as she opened the office door. " Yes sir?" she answered letting go of the door handle and turned towards Brad. "I thought we were not going to tell anyone." " I'm sorry I don't follow," she said looking all confused. Brad moved slowly towards her. She moves backwords until she hits the door "someone will see" she says all flustered as Brad presses his lips on her cheeks. "Well it seems you aren't against them knowing anymore," said brad as he pulled away from her.

Suddenly the door bursts open "Brad! why don't you ever answer your phone?" Felix, Brads younger brother, paused and glanced at the two suspiciously before he began to speak again, "sorry, am I interrupting something?" No sir, I was actually um, about to head out," she says as she quickly hurries out of the office. "I'll ask about that later but first dude mom has been trying to reach you since morning and now she can't stop calling me instead," "I know what she wants from me and I really don't feel like arguing with her today Felix." " yuh okay don't argue just hear her out, its actually a good thing you need to settle down already there can only be one bachelor in this family and it cant be you, all you do is sit here in this boring office of yours we don't even get to hang out anymore."

The landline rings interrupting their conversation, Brad signals to his brother that it would only take a second and moves towards his desk. "Yes this is Brad speaking...." Felix takes a seat on the couch in the office and starts to fidget with the marble decor on the coffee table in front of him as he waited for his older successful brother to end the phone call. "whoa, who is that?" said Felix as he noticed one of the employees pass by the offices glass window." I will definitely get back to you after it is discussed at the board meeting tomorrow, thank you, have a good day too." Brad put down the phone and walked towards his brother who was very focused on something outside the office window. "what are u looking at so passionately" asked brad as he sat next to his brother. "Her, is she new?" Felix said as he pointed towards a beautiful young lady that stood on the rear end of a desk as she passed files and documents to her colleague. "who? oh Kim," he said as he looked towards the direction Felix was pointing "No, she's been working with us for quite a while."

Kim was leaving for Mr Young's office when she was stopped by Felix. "leaving already?" said Felix standing in front of her "oh hello sir, you startled me for a while there" said Kim with a low giggle. "You know who I am?" asked Felix with a confused face. "I think everyone in this building does Mr Felix, did you need something?" said Kim waiting for his reply with a rushed look on her face. "No actually, I was just telling Brad that I haven't seen you around and he said you've been here for a while, so I just wanted to meet you." "yes actually I work for Mr Young of the development department, it was nice meeting you sir, if you don't mind I have to deliver these files to him, have a good day," she said excusing herself of Felix.

"Come in," responded Mr Young to the door knock. "Yes Kim, you can place them on my table ill go through them when I'm done with my coffee." Kim walked in and placed the files on his table and headed towards the door. "Kim, sit and have some coffee with me," said Mr young looking at hesitant Kim at the door, "trust me you need try this coffee its amazing." "thank you, I made it." said Kim with a sarcastic smile on her face as she sat down and poured herself a cup of coffee. "I knew that I just wanted to get you to sit." said Mr young and they both smiled at each other. They both kept taking sips of their coffee until Kim decided to break the awkward silence, "so far everything is going well for the opening next month," she said as she took another sip of her coffee. Mr Young put his cup down and turned towards Kim, "that's great news and thank you for all your hard work but lets not talk about work for now, its getting really frustrating having to talk about this opening all day long, let's just relax and enjoy your lovely coffee, I know you're tired as well considering your behaviour this morning," he says as they both burst out into laughter.
