12~Confession~in~the~rain

~Hinata POV~

It had been a while since I last went to get Noya-san and Suga-senpai needed him so he told me to go look for him. The water fight was still going on and it was pretty intense. I was happy I got to take a break from it and what Noya-senpai had done earlier with the pink alien-looking dude slipped my mind.

I spotted pink hair in a grove of trees and spotted Noya next to him. I could see the light filtering through the leaves and it looked peaceful and.......... romantic. My heart dropped at the thought and I ran off to Noya as I stand up. When I was close enough to hear their conversation, I froze.

"I don't really know how to say this..." I know that I shouldn't be eavesdropping but it seemed like this was a confession. I cleared my thoughts as Noya continued. "Lately, I just feel so shy around you. You make md smile for no fucking reason." I felt tears running down my cheeks and suddenly, it seemed like it was raining. People down on the field probably got ahold of turrets and were shooting up here.

I turned back to Noya and alien-boy and gasped at the sight in front of me. Noya's hair was being kept down by the water and water was running down his face. He had a determined look on his face. He took a deep breath and licked his lips. My legs started shaking and I fell to the grass silently.

'HOW IS HE SO HOT? WHY IS HE SO HOT? HOT BOYS NEED TO STOP WAKING UP THE BUTTERFLIES IN MY STOMACH! DAMMIT, NISHINOYA YUU STOP MAKING ME FALL FOR YOU!'

I screamed in my head as I went back to eavesdropping, trying to ignore how 'hot and perfect Noya looks as the water runs down his beautifully sculpted chest and his killer abs and his- NO STOP!' I shook my head side to side and listened.

"You give me butterflues in my stomach. I feel like I can fly when I'm with you. I feel so happy and free and alive and, and, and, AND I DON'T HAVE A THING FOR KIYOKO, THAT'S A COVER UP BECAUSE, BECAUSE YOU ARE THE PERSON I LIKE! No, not like. That's wrong. I LOVE YOU! YEAH, THAT'S THE WORD! I LOVE YOU, PLEASE BE MY BOYFRIEND!"

After Noya yelled that, he pulled alien-boy in for what looked like a kiss. I slowly stood up. I watched them pull away and Nishinoya-senpai was panting. "How was that?" He breathed out as alien-boy gave him a thumbs up. I turned around and bolted off to the field, crying. I couldn't handle the heartbreak anymore.

'THEY HAVEN'T EVEN KNOWN EACHOTHER FOR A DAY!'

~Saiki POV~

Well I hope he has fun confessing cuz the tangerine head he wants to confess to just saw and heard all of that. Love is so confusing.

~Hinata POV~

I screamed as I reached the field and tackled Kageyama to the ground, landing on his soaked, toned, and BARE chest.

He tried to push me off of him as I wrapped my arms around his torso as everyone stopped spraying water and the team gathered around me and Kageyama.

~3rd POV~

Hinata was laying on top of Kageyama who was desperately trying to pull Hinata off. The team gathered around the two, everyone silent. There was a muffled hiccup as Kageyama stopped struggling with the tangerine.

~Kageyama POV~

Hinata tackled me from the front and we fell backward onto the grass. I tried tk pull him off of me but his grip around my torso tightened. He had his face buried into my chest and I honestly felt kind of embarrassed and uncomfortable with all the attention. I didn't want anyone, including the team, to get the wrong idea. I continued trying to pull him off as everyone was now gathered around us.

I stopped when I heard a hiccup and felt a warm substance fall on my chest in continuous drops. I felt his body shake a little and I calmed down. "Oi boke. Are you crying?" I asked him as quietly and as calmly as possible. He didn't answer but simply dug his nails into my back. I flinched slightly but I wrapped my arms around his bare back and closed my eyes, blocking out the fact that people were staring. I rubbed my hand in circles on his back as the team backed away and shooed everyone away.

I felt the team sit in a circle around us as I continued rubbing Hinata's back. I quietly started humming to him as I felt hos breathing slow and become more steady. I opened my eyes and looked around. 'Nishinoya-senpai isn't here' I thiught to myself as I looked back at Hinata. He slowly sat up on my lap as I was still laying on the grass. I propped myself up on my forearms as Hinata wiped tears away from his lifeless eyes.

"Sorry Kageyama" he whisper-mumbled as I could feel him shake slightly on top of me. I sat up and wrapped my arms around him. I put his head on my shoulder and ran my fingers through his hair. He hesitated before wrapping his arms around me and crying into my shoulder. I turned my head to face him and whispered "Go ahead and cry, I'll carry you to somewhere that we can talk privately, ok?" He simply nodded at which I replied with, "Wrap your arms and legs around me."

Once Hinata was holding onto me like a koala, I asked Asahi and Daichi to help me up. They helped me stand up but I could tell they were confused. I told them I would explain later as I put my hands under Hinata's thighs to support him. I walked into the school and up to the roof. I noticed Jace and Lilith sitting on one of the benches and was about to turn back to go somewhere else when I heard one of them speak up. "Hey crazy setter, we are going to go shopping for some stuff so we were just about to leave." I turned tk face them and saw Jace nod in approval.  "Oh. Thank you. Stay safe." I replied and they nodded before heading back inside.

I walked over to a bench and sat down. Hinata relaxed a little and let go of me. He wiped his eyes and nose and started to take deel breaths to calm down while I rubbed his back. People say I'm not good at comforting people but that's only because they don't know this side of me.

"H-hey Kags?" I heard Hinata's small voice and it snapped me out of my thoughts. "Hm?" I asked, grabbing a towel that Jace and Lilith left up here. It was clean so I decided to use it. "I- I think I'm giving up." He sniffled after saying thag and I started drying Hinata's hair. "Ah! B-bakayama stop it!" Hinata whined as I gripped his head harder. "Boke, let me dry your hair or your gonna carch a cold." I said as he gave up and let me dry his hair. "Giving up on what?" I asked as I moved the towel away from his head and looked into his glistening, tear-stained eyes.

"Love" he replied and I raised an eyebrow at him, signaling him to continue as I started drying off his arms. "When I went tk get Nishinoya-senpai the first time, he was acting all lovey-dovey with pink hair alien boy-" I held back a snort from the nickname he gave Saiki. Hinata can be funny in the most serious of situations. "And then Nishinoya-senpai shooed me away and dragged alien-head away in a different direction." I stiffled another laugh and asked, "That's why you looked dkwn in the dumps when you came back?"

He looked at me as I dried off his face and started drying his shoulders. "Yeah.. and when Sugama-" I moved the towel down and started drying off his back. "I mean, when Suga-san told me to get him again, I got happy and-" I started drying off his chest until he yelled, startling me. "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" He jumped off ofnmd and I relaized my mistake.

"Sorry about that.. can I?" I asked and he nodded, sitting back on my lap. I went back to drying kff his chest as he continued talking. "And so I went to find him. He was in a really pretty grove of trees with alien-boy and so I snuck closer and possibly eavesdropped on their conversation." I started drying off his legs as he continued in a quieter, smaller voice. "Nishinoya-senpai confessed to Saiki-senpai...." I was surprised Hinata used his actual name and was about to say something before he added onto his original comment. What he said left me frozen in shock and worry.
