Sans' POV

My vision started to waver as I dodged another attack.

"Come on Sansy~ Just give up already. We both know I'll eventually kill you," Frisk, or should I say Chara, tried to persuade me.

"You know I can't do that, kiddo," I tried to catch my breath while I strained a smile.

"True, but if you give up now, you'll be able to see sweet ol' Papyrus sooner," Chara gave me a sadistic smile. I threw a few bone attacks at them, hoping to do something. They only dodged and ran towards me, knife ready.

"Well, guess I'll see you on the other side kid," I fell to my knees, holding my new, but at the same time old, wound. I looked up at the kid, "I just hope under better circumstances,". I saw the pain and guilt on the kid's face while I started to black out. "Heh".

My eyes fluttered open as I looked around. It was dark, cramped, and it stank worse than my room. "Where in the hell..?". This was definitely not my room. I attempted to get up but just as I did that, it got brighter, like the roof was coming off. I shielded my eyes with my arm from the new found light.

"AHHHHHHH," I turned to the noise. There stood a man with a mustache and very odd hair. How much gel did he use for his hair stick stick up like that?

"Um, are you alright?" I asked him once he regained his composure.

"Uh, yeah, you just scared me, with your appearance and all. No offence by the way!" he said while fixing his triangle glasses. "What are you doing in there, anyway?" He said while pulling me out of one of those giant, green dumpsters you find behind restaurants.

"Oh, no offence taken, I get that a ton, a skeleton" I chuckled a bit and he joined in. "And I don't really know what I'm doing in there, I kinda woke up there,"

"Ah, I see..." he said picking up a garbage back on the ground and throwing it in the trash. He must of thrown it when he screamed. "Well, do you remember anything before that?" the man asked. I thought for a moment, I can't tell him that I was bleeding out a the floor, waiting for the world to reset so some toddler can go around killing everyone I've ever cared for for the millionth time.

"Well, I can remember hanging out at home then waking up here," I lied.

"Wait, really? That's odd," he said thinking, "Well, we can go to my friend, he might be able to help you. Do you remember where you live? Or your quirk?"

"That's the thing, I don't think I live anywhere even close to here. And what's a quirk?"

"What do you mean? Like out of town or out of the country? Also, a quirk is a super power that 80% of the population has," he looked confused and shocked.

"I mean, in this world," I said scratching my cheek with my pointer finger. He looked in between being shocked but not quite believing me.

"How do I know you're not lying?" He said getting a little tense, "Or that you're not a villain?" A villain?

"Well, first of all, there are no 'villains'. Just genocidal toddlers. And second, any time that we got to the surface, there were no humans with super powers," I put my hands up in defense.

"Well, I guess that  would explain some things. Plus, it wouldn't be to far fetched if someone's quirk malfunctioned ending in bringing you here," he said, lost in thought. He also must have missed what I just said. "But just to be sure, I'm going to take you to my friends, okay?"
