Heyyy! Well, idk what in the hell I'm doing, but here is Lust. I really hope y'all enjoy reading this and following this story. I can't promise that I will update on a regular basis but I for sure will take this till the end - don't hate me with what I'll write, please!

Oh, I like long chapters, but how it's just the beginning they might be shorter. Let's go!

Pain. Passion. Defeat. Affection. Fear. Love. Shame.

Desire.

Onika was stoic. Beyoncé destroyed.

It is simply agonizing to know that one person has so much power over you, whoever they are. To be in love and to live that passion is to give up the life of one and live the life of two, it is to love, to care, to learn, even to get angry sometimes, but Onika was not ready for that, on the contrary, she did not want that. She thought that being in love only caused pain, nothing good came out of love, hell she was living proof of that. She had the conviction that when you are in love you lose control over your own life, over your own body, you are surrendered to the desires and pleasures of another person.

But in contrast, there's Beyoncé, a natural romantic. She believed that being in love is about giving the other the opportunity to experience new things, to share and share moments. She knew that there was an effort between both parties to make a relationship work, she also knew that fairy tales didn't exist, but still, she wanted to have her own experience of what being loved really is and live her own "real-life tale".

In high school, appearances are everything. It's how others see you that determines whether you are loved or hated, admired or despised, invisible or popular. Both girls were popular, there wasn't a human being in that high school who didn't know who the ridiculous Beyoncé was or the perfect Onika. Onika was popular because she was the captain of the cheerleading squad, everyone licked the ground she walked on. The boys wanted her, the girls followed her inwardly envied her, while Beyoncé was the court jester of that hell - her own words. She was constantly bullied, abused, and scorned. The two girls were completely different. While Onikawas the storm, Beyoncé was the calm. But later, the blonde got carried away by the thunderstorms of the smaller girl, who she thought had finally given her a chance.

The Texan had in her core a strong desire for the New Yorker. The same girl who hurt her daily with her stupid jokes was the person she craved the most. What did that make her? Idiot, she would say.

What Beyoncé didn't realize was that she was going to live through it all, with the girl of her dreams, only to end up, just like real life, getting hurt.

The radio was playing Impossible by James Arthur, but in the version sung by Shontelle, how ironic, Beyoncé thought. It was a cold night, drizzle falling from the sky could be seen through the large window in the living room of Onika's house, the atmosphere was tense, the feeling of resentment and pain was expressed and both women could feel it.

Falling out of love is hard
Falling for betrayal is worse
Broken trust and broken hearts, I know, I know

The intensity of the honey-colored eyes against the shame highlighted in the amber eyes. So much regret spelled out in the atmosphere.

And thinking all you need is there
Building faith on love and words
Empty promises will wear, I know, I know

Beyoncé wanted explanations. Why do this, for what? To stand out, to prove that she could have anyone, even if that anyone was a worthless loser?

And now, when all is done, there is nothing to say
And if you're done with embarrassing me
On your own, you can go ahead, tell them

Onika was still processing everything that had occurred in this period of one hour. One hour. That was all it took to end everything she had built, wrongly, but still, everything she had built. She felt dirty, immoral, ashamed.

Tell them all I know now
Shout it from the rooftops
Write it on the skyline
All we had is gone now
Tell
them I was happy
And my heart is broken
All my scars are open
Tell them what I hoped would be
Impossible, impossible
Impossible, impossible

It was when this part of the song came that Beyoncé fell apart, she disowned herself for breaking down in front of this person, a person that once was given as the woman of her dreams, but she still did, it was beyond her. All the moments they lived through, the laughter, the tears, the memories, everything. Gone.

Despite everything, at that moment, it felt like they were in a damn movie scene. I mean, seriously, did this song have to be playing?! And did it have to be raining? At this point she had tears running down her face and it was quite strange to look at Onika and see her reflection. She also had tears in her eyes, but unlike her, Onika wasn't a hot mess. She looked controlled.

This is not how the Texan thought the story would end, not at all.

"Why? Why did you do this to me?! Out of what"

"Out of lust"
