Water running down into your scalp..in between every strand of hair..calming your nerves as you close your eyes and relax, slowly running your fingers through your hair..you open your eyes and slightly smile at the calmi—

*BOOM*

You glare at the wall in front of you clearly annoyed at your obnoxiously noisy household. You turn the shower off and step out, the moment ruined by loud laughing and yelling, along with various bangs and booms.
You dry your hair, brushing the knots and putting it up in the most presentable style you could manage. You throw on your light gray joggers that end at the middle of your calf and a white noodle strap tank top, checking yourself out in the mirror before slightly smiling, another obnoxious scream and boom from downstairs making you drop your smile into an annoyed frown.
"What's it take to get some peace and fricking quiet in this household." You mumbled to yourself while walking down the stairs to see what all the commotion was about. As soon as you got to the last step you immediately regretted even waking up.

"Uhhhh.." your father lays tangled in the white curtains, and your little sister leora  jumping on the couch with what seems like your mother car keys, you can hear loud beeping from the car outside which probably means leora was messing with buttons. You acknowledge that your mother is trying desperately to get your father out of the entanglement he's got himself into, while your older brother hatsu is chasing around your little cousin Neoni that has multiple knives in both hands
"y/n hun! can you get the keys from your sister and Jesus Christmas— PLEASE get your foolish father out of this curtain!!" Your mother ran to the kitchen to your little cousin dancing on the table, chasing him around as your older brother slips and falls on pudding that was thrown on the floor.
You sighed and walked over to your sister leora and snatch the keys from her hand "heyyy!" She whined and you shot her a glare making her immediately shut up, you clicked a button making the car outside stop all of its hollering. You walked to your dad giving him the 'how' look. He nervously laughed
"I uh. Was trying to get the dog to give me the remote and uh..this...happened.." your ginormous black husky Named luis trotted over and dropped the slobbery remote beside your feet and you grimaced at it in slight disgust, luis sitting innocently and looking up at you with his tongue hanging from his mouth. you rolled your eyes and smiled "you little troublemaker!" You rubbed the sides of Luis's face before turning back to your dad and breaking him out of his curtain tangled hold. "thanks kid!" He ruffled the top of your hair. "Hey! I just fixed my hair you bully!" You laughed, patting down your frizzy ponytail.
"NEONI GIVE ME THE KNIVES!!"
"NOOO!!"
You sighed and face palmed
"no peace I tell ya..."
your dad nudged your side, as a slight agreement and your mother glared at the both of us before something in her brain clicked.
"y/n don't you have that test to do for UA today?" your mother reminded you, holding your little cousins writs while giving you a curious look.

Your heart...STOPPED.

"I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THAAAAT!!"
You ran upstairs so fast I'm pretty sure you didn't even feel your feet touch the stairs.
Your parents both exchanged looks before shrugging.
Your desperately throwing around clothes, glancing around every inch of your room and panicking about what you were gonna wear for the entrance exams this afternoon. YES. ENTRANCE EXAMS. Turns out your middle school thought you had an amazing quirk so they offered you the idea of signing up to go the the best hero school in Japan. I mean like you were thinking about it for a while..but then decided to wing it and just go.
You eventually decided on some black shorts and a F/C hoodie paired with black sneakers (of your choice ) you quickly grabbed your house keys, fixed your hair, snatching your phone and running out of your room, and back downstairs.
"Dad can you give me a ride? Pleaseeee!!" You begged him because you seriously didn't need running cardio at 7 in the morning. Your father looked at his wristwatch before frowning a bit and looking at you.
"Im sorry kiddo but I gotta be to work in 5 minutes. If im late I get written up again. Im sorry" you huffed out of sadness a bit before looking at your mom
"mom can you!—" you were cut off
"I wish I could babe but who's gonna watch these kids?.." your mother said sweetly as she casually takes a bag of jelly beans from Leora . You look at the ceiling tapping your foot trying to think before your mother beat you to it.
"How about you call auntie? I bet she would be more than happy to take you!" You jolted up, a lightbulb going off. "Good idea mom!! Thanks!" You paced around calling your pro hero aunt midnight, and luckily she said yes! The perks of having an aunt as a pro hero, Is that that they find events like this SUUUPER important, especially since she's helping out with the UA staff and teachers this year. You were looking out the window, getting impatient as time went by until you saw an all black VERY fancy car with dark purple rims and doors that opened like butterfly wings, you smiled big and said bye to everyone before running outside to greet your aunt. You kissed her cheek.
"Hey Auntie!"
"Hey hun, excited are we?" She laughed a little and You smiled, looking out the window "drive drive driveeee!!" She laughed once more before pulling out of the driveway and speeding down the road...
