Life on deck - A Suite life on deck story

The suite life sets sail

"C'mon mom hurry up!" I called as I ran into the ships main lobby. "Child you need to calm down, we're on the boat already you ain't missing anything" my mom (Miracle) replied in sarcastic tone. I wasn't really listening as looking around the lobby at all the kids that would be joining me at school it was a lot more interesting. My mom realised this and decided to check in with the front desk. After that we headed to the main deck to get my schedule and say our final goodbyes.

"Please line up to get your seven seas high manual!" A slightly shrill voice chirped. My mom and I walked over to the line, thankfully we were early so we didn't have to wait very long to get to the front. "Here's your seven seas high manual, the student schedule is included inside. What is your name?" She asked "Ciara Marks" I replied "ahh here you are Miss Marks you are in room B-300 in the girls dorms, you've applied for a single room is that correct?" My mom answered her before I could. "yep that's what we asked for" she said with a smile "You are very lucky we only had a small handful available" the teacher, who's name I probably should have asked for said. We thanked her and left to find my room.

"Mom you didn't have to come with me to my room most parents would have said bye on the sky deck and left" I complained "Ciara I am trying to make sure your room is a good one and that you are all settled in before I leave" my mom told me although I wasn't too convinced she was telling the truth.

I looked at my mom with sceptical eyes "alright fine I just don't want to leave you just yet, your my baby girl!" My mom exclaimed with a sad expression and gave me a tight hug. "I'll miss you too mom but you can't stay here forever the boat is leaving soon and dad's still in the car waiting." I told her as we hugged "oh alright I'll go but I'll miss you and you better call whenever you get the chance alright! and make sure you take care of your hair and moisture it properly you just got these faux locs done recently" she tells me as she released me from the hug. "I will I promise don't worry I'll be fine, now that my bags are in here I'll walk to the exit of the boat with you" I offer, obviously my mom accepts and we walk back to the lobby and say a real final goodbye.

I walked back towards the sky deck, when I arrived I saw a man hanging from a life bouy. (What in the world) I thought as I quickly walked past I almost bumped into two boys and an older women who were standing there watching him. "Whoops sorry" I said "it's no problem" the older woman tells me.

I then saw a the smoothie bar, went over and ordered a mango blast smoothie because why not. When my smoothie was done I decided this was the perfect time to explore the giant boat while I drink it. After a couple hours of exploration and trying different things I found this awesome games room where I spent the rest of the day. I wanted to have some fun before school started.

The next day the teacher, who gave us our schedules, Miss Tutweiller was showing us around. We walked into a room and a girl who looked surprisingly a lot like London Tipton had thrown her bag at the teacher. (Wait! That is London Tipton! No way what's she doing here?) I thought to myself. "This is the state of the art marine biology lab" when she said that my interest was peaked immediately. I have always wanted to study marine animals and now I can. "Which my daddy paid for!" London announced. I smiled at London and looked around the room.

The person standing not too close to me was this oddly dressed guy who wore a big hoodie on top of his hat. I must have been staring because he smiled at me, (Yikes! Now he knows I was staring) I just gave him an awkward smile and turned to one of the sea creatures as if it was the most fascinating thing the world. A few seconds later I heard someone say "hey... I'm Bailey" I turned and the boy I stared at was talking to me. (Ok Ciara calm down just introduced yourself) "hi... I'm Ciara sorry for staring" I said trailing off at the end. Bailey laughed it off and told me it was no problem. "Now, if you'll all follow me, we'll go up one deck to the planetarium" Miss Tutweiller told us "I don't know what that is but my daddy paid for it!...can I go now?" London asked "no, through nothing would make me happier." She said as she and London walked out.
