HI everyone it's been a while! Woah. Been busy lately. haha, I haven't had anytime to edit and post here in Wattpad. That's unfortunate, I know. But, let's do something about it, shall we?
Okay, so just a little update about my life. (I swear it will lead to "I LOVE THIS PERSON.. Jessica Concha", just stay with me. LOL) So, here it goes. As you all know, I graduated last year, BS Computer Science from Bacolod and after enjoying no school for months, I got tired of it. So, I decided to go here in Manila and try my luck. Fortunately, the odds was on my favor.
I am currently employed in a Technology Company ( I am not sure if I can mention the name. But if you want to ask me, just send me a tweet! @dhayanj ;] but if you can guess, guess away. LOL) as an Associate Software Engineer, for short a Programmer. We maintain a certain system (also developed by the team), make sure nothing bad will happened and identify defects ahead of time so that our clients will have better service. We undergo Boot Camp and extended training before getting deployed to different projects. After waiting to be deployed, I got assigned to one of the biggest client of the company (a lot of pressure there!). So, yeah, I am currently undergoing the Shadowing stage, observing how everything works.
After three weeks of staying there, I've met new people and exposed to new environment. And here's how my story started.
Earlier today (March 16, 2015), one of my colleagues (a girl) turned on her pocket wifi. Then, when someone asked her if what's the name of her device, she replied, "Xelfualizee". I faced her and excitedly said: "Oh my, gosh! Self- Actualization!"
We talked about the stories of Ate Jess and Ate Jess herself. We both love her. She read all the previous stories too. (Unfortunately, we both are too busy to read the latest stories. Sorry! But we'll make time for it!) We both read Southern High as our first story. Our favorites are A Place In Time (of course), The Diary and so much more! (I don't think I need to mention Xelfualizee. It's pretty obvious she adores it! Haha!)
So, yeah. I just wanna share these story to you guys. It was my first time to meet someone who also loves Ate Jess' works (except of course to those who suggested her works and also the people I met online because of her Fan Base). It was an awesome feeling! Sharing and giving comments about the stories. We both praised Ate Jess for her professional way of writing it's really awesome.
I really miss the fan base of Ate Jess! I miss getting involved! It's just I'm still starting and I'm still adjusting. HAHA.
Ate Jess, if you can read this, can I ask something? Uhmm, when will you be coming back here in the Philippines? Because FINALLY, it would be easier for me to meet you since we can be in the same island and I don't have to fly hundreds of miles just to see you. (By the way, the last time you've been here, that was last year-was that May? Anyhow, I was about to book a flight going to Manila but we have to travel abroad for vacation so, I haven't got a chance to go here. But boy, was I jealous! HAHA!) So yeah, I was hoping to meet you reallyyyyyy sooon Ate Jess! :) Take Care! Good luck with your career and congratulations on every achievement you gain! We, your fans are just here to support you.
