When Carlos approached Kit with the goal of finding himself a girlfriend, she set the smoothie she and James had been sharing down on the table with a frown. She and Camille, who sat on Logan's lap, shared a knowing look. Kit felt uneasy about the idea of Carlos scrambling to find a girl to date for the purposes of empathizing with a break-up song, as it would inevitably serve an express purpose to break his heart. The boy was determined in his search.
"Carlos," Camille said. "Love isn't just gonna run up with a hockey stick in one hand and a corn dog in the other and throw itself at you"
The teens snickered. Carlos frowned and left to continue his mission in the Palm Woods park. Once he was gone, the two couples began to leave as well.
Camille stood. She picked her bag up and turned towards Logan. The boy smiled at her.
"Hey," he said. "I'm going to the Solar Winds of Venus Exhibit at the planetarium. Wanna come with?"
Camille shook her head. "Can't, gotta run lines."
Rising from her spot in James's lap, Kit huffed, muttering:
"The planetarium! Without me?"
Kit protruded her bottom lip in a slight pout. She had been begging the boys to go with her for weeks now, but they always seemed to have something going on.
Logan smiled sheepishly. He turned to Kit. "Aw, Kit," he said. "Of course, you can come with me"
"Sorry, Logan. It's a really big audition," Camille said, patting his chest. She turned towards Kit. "You two have fun, though"
"What's the part?"
"I play a princess robot who falls for this super handsome hair model spy prince-"
James's ears perked up at this. He popped up, offering himself as a scene partner. "I'm in," he said. "Just give me an hour to absorb the script and to get into character"
With that, the four went their separate ways.

The planetarium in Los Angeles was nearly twice the size as the one in Minnesota that Kit used to go to. As she and Logan entered the museum, she gazed in awe at the building. He shoved his hands in his pockets and watched as she skipped excitedly.
"I think there's a showing in five minutes, if you wanna head to the theater first?"
Logan gestured towards the board which listed when each demonstration began. Kit nodded. She followed beside him, struggling to contain her excitement.
