There was once a princess in a tower,
She waited for her knight in shinning armour,
The perfect vision, holding up a flower!
Come to save her, from her solitude.

She waited, day in and day out,
She grew tired, weak and felt down,
She decided, she would be her own knight,
She climbed out, through the window in a gown.

The princess, she went on an adventure,
She went out into the vast world,
The young lady took a day to rest,
And think about the person she could be.

She wanted to be a princess no longer,
Nore did she want to be a knight.

There one was a prince in a tower,
He waited for his knight in shinning armour,
The perfect vision, holding up a flower!
Come to save him, from his solitude.

He waited, day in and day out,
He grew tired, weak and felt down,
He decided, he would be his own knight,
He climbed out, through his window in a gown.

The prince, he went on an adventure,
He went out into the vast world,
The young man took a day to rest,
And think about the person he could be.

He wanted to be a princess no longer,
Nore did he want to be a knight.

The prince found who he was all along,
A young man, who had seen the world,
And so his journey had finally ended,
He returned home to his old tower,
He built up a ladder, and climbed into the window,
And so he lived, happily ever after.
