My Seaweed Brain (Percabeth AU) (FIRST FANFIC)

Chapter 6

First chapter since April 13th... this could be really, really bad. Just a heads up! Hope you enjoy xD

Calypso POV:

   "Have a good day at school today Cal. I love you!" My mom says after me. "Love you too!" I say back. Man, last night was really fun. I got to go out to dinner with all my friends, including Annabeth! I still feel bad for her, her life must suck. I also met Percy, who seems like a nice dude, but he's a bit mysterious. Nevertheless, it was a good night.   I get in my car and start the engine. Honestly, I really want to get to school and get to know Annabeth and Percy better, since I just met them. However, I need to actually GET to school first, and I'm not exactly the best driver (and it's kind of hard to drive in New York City). I drive out of my parallel parking spot and start heading to school.

~~~TIMESKIP~~~

   I'm here in one piece! Thank the Gods I wasn't late, the traffic was HORRIBLE. Anyways, I walk into school and see Annabeth, writing in some book. She's also wearing different clothes then yesterday, which is good since her outfit didn't change over the course of two days. I walk up to her and start talking.
   "Hi Annabeth!" I say cheerfully. She looks up and immediately shoves the book in her locker.
   Hi Cal! How's it going?" I smiled and said, "things are going okay for me. How about you?"
   She sighed and said, "Well, they were going amazing at dinner, but I had to go back to my house and get clothes. When I got there, I was beaten by my step-mom. Luckily I still got some clothes."
   I gasped. "Well, are you okay? Do you need to stay with me and my family?"
   She said, "no, I'm okay, and I think I'll be okay for the nights, because Percy also offered me a place to stay last night." She blushed at the word 'Percy.'
   I smirked. "I knew I saw something between you too, even though you literally just met. True love has no boundaries."
   She blushed even redder and said, "come on, we aren't actually in, like, love love or anything. I'm not one for the lovey-dovey stuff."
   I smirked again and said, "hey, what happened between you guys for you to blush every time I say the word Percy."
  Annabeth blushed a bit and said, "well, he saved me from being probably sexually abused by my ex-boyfriend, AND he let me just open up to him and tell him a lot of personal things. He's a really good FRIEND. You hear that? Friend!"
   I giggled and said, "that's what they all say! Please, send me my wedding invitation early so I can prepare for it."
   She blushed and said, "Shh! Percy just walked in!" And sure enough, Percy himself was walking through the doorway and was headed towards us.
   "Hi guys." He said in a very tired voice. "Hi Perce! I said, but Annabeth had decided to freeze. "Oh, h-hi Percy!" She finally said.
   "You okay from yesterday, Annabeth?" She shrugged and said, "I'm okay. Thanks for asking."
He then turned to me and said, "Hey Cal. Still can't ride a bike?" I pushed him lightly and said, "be quiet, mister! I bet YOU can't ride a horse!" He nodded and said, "true, true. Well, I have to go to my class, because it's on the other side of the school and I don't want to be late. I'll see you later, Cal." I waved goodbye to him as he walked away.
"Oh, I have that class too, don't I?" Annabeth said. "Oh yeah, I sit next to Percy! I've got to go, Cal! I'll see you at lunch, okay?" "See you there!" I said after her. Suddenly, I felt two hands on my shoulders from behind. I turned and almost knocked out my boyfriend Leo.
"Jeez, girl, I was just trying to be funny!" He said. I rolled my eyes and said, "well, you certainly try." He smiled and said, "so how's it going, Mamacita?" as he wrapped his arms around me.
I shrugged and said, "I just talked hto Annabeth and Percy, so it's going good so far." He unwraps his arms and says, "oh them? They're cool. Aren't they, like, bf and gf or something?"
I laughed and said, "I think they should be, but Annabeth insists they're just "friends."
He smirks and says, "right. Just friends. Didn't we used to be "just friends?" I smiled and said, "yep, everyone is at first. We just have to give them time."
Leo checks his watch and groans. "I have to start heading to class. I'll catch you later, 'Kay?" "'Kay." He kisses me on the cheek and walks away.
I also start heading to my class, music (which is actually one of my 7 favorite classes. And yes, I have 7 classes total throughout the day).
As I'm walking, I pass Percy's and Annabeth's class. I saw them for a brief moment; they were in back of the room, laughing at something one of them had said. I smile and remember Annabeth's words; "he's a really good FRIEND. You hear that? Friend!" I saw right through that, as anyone would. I know those are two soulmates that have finally met each other. We just have to give them enough time to realize it.

Chapter 6 is DUNZO!!! AND I'M BACK!!!! I FINALLY managed to convince my dad to let me get Wattpad, and so I'm SUPER excited to keep working on this story! I decided to switch up the POV for this chapter, as we see this story from Calypso's POV. This was a super fun chapter to write, I'm not going to lie.
