As I walked through my apartment door,I threw of my shoes and went to take a shower. As I came out, I got dressed in my favourite pj's ..a baggy shorts and a loose t shirt...my style.I was picking up the phone to order a pizza when the apartment buzzer rang..I put a steady hand on my dagger which was tucked in my shorts and took slow steps towards the buzzer,I clicked the button and said "Who's there?"...there was shuffling on the other end which made me even more suspicious ,nobody else came to visit ne except my close friend Ashley."Hey!! Girl how are ya'?",I heard her usual loud screeching in my ear,sigh she was always in a cheery mood but beware she's got a dirty mind.I held down the buzzer to let her in as she crammed me into a breathtaking hug...
"hey what are you doing home on a Friday night,when Dylan's house is just around the block keeping a mind blowing party"...that explains where the noise is coming from..."Go get ready we are going out" she prompted..."Or nah",I defended with my brows up.
She just smiled at me and said "Liv (that's what she calls me)..if I have to drag you to the wardrobe and torture you to change into a sexy outfit I freaking hell will!,she screamed while grinning at me like a total idiot.She took a deep breath to calm her nerves.
"Nope, no ones gonna talk me out of this,you and I both know how stubborn I can be."
She just nodded and grinned at me ,as I raised by eye brows and cocked my head to one side I realized she was well dressed for a party well clad out in a short black,tight strapless dress with red pumps and make up strewn across her face.
"Your not gonna give up are you?"I asked as I slowly shook my head from side to side
"Ash I'm sorry but partying just aint my style"I tried to explain...."liv for one night you don't have to drink ....but you gotta dance...deal?"...she held out her hand to call a truce.
She started ramsacking my wardrobe at once, every time she found one she's like"liv,do you like this one?"..and before I can answer she's like "eh,too ugly"..it went on like that until she came out with a minty blue strapless dress ,she looked at me and I nodded my head in approval.
She curled my hair and it came down in waves..she wanted to put make up on me but I stubbornly refused and let
her use lip balm instead "I'll just add lipgloss,not alot promise",she whined ..I just gave her my signature death glare and she just stuck her tongue out at me.
When I was almost done Ash,(short for Ashley) wanted me Olive Pelt to wear high heels...this girl had crossed the line."You have got to to be kidding me?...I have never walked in heels since I was born and nothing is going to make me wear those.....not even you,I mean you already put me in a goddamn strapless dress,no way in hell will I wear heels.,can't I just wear my combat boots instead?!"......
"Liv, I will not let you wear boots with a blue, minty ,short strapless dress,for heaven's sake where the hell does your fashion sense come from?!"she sighed and checked the time "c'mon we gotta hurry it's 8:00 and I want some vodka liquor to drink my ass off tonight".
I leaned against my bedroom wall and said "maybe I can wear my red gladiator sandals",I suggested.
She turned around to my direction..and gasped "THAT'S IT!!"she ran and gave me tight hug."Whoever questions your fashion sense is a retard!",I just rolled my eyes and muttered "tell me about it".. I sighed as I put on my sandals ,grabbed a blue purse and headed out to Ashley's silver SUV parked in my the parking lot downstairs.
She sreamed happily and pretended to cry"My best friend is finally going to a party" I smiled at her and made sure I had my dagger tucked in the back of my dress so it would be easy to slip out if anybody messes with me at the party,I breathed a sigh of relief when I found out it was there.
I looked over at Ash and found that her smile was slowly fading,I gave her a questioning look and she whispered "Earings"...(oh hell no)
"Ash if I go back in my apartment I will not be coming out back,because you and I both know how lazy I am so pick."
She nodded and muttered"Whats the use."
I had on a necklace though which I got when I was younger from my mom,it was a light blue small circular pendant ball that hung from a silver chain.
The ride did not take long seeing as the house with the mind blowing party was near my apartment.
I took a deep breath before I got out of the car.
