Boris was taking a stroll when he found a pack of hatchlings had invaded his web. Those hatchlings had to go and his brain incapable of empathy saw only one solution: infanticide.

Boris needed to sneak up on them and not be discovered. If they were afraid, he knew they would flee and the thing about hatchlings is they're incredibly light and agile.

But by disguising himself with goggles and a mustache, he almost took on the appearance of a horsefly, a spider's favorite buffet. He slowly crept toward the youngsters, stopping near the middle, feigning death. And sure enough, the bird brained hatchlings made their way over to the disguised spider. Boris waited until they were all near and suddenly sprung into action capturing nearly all of the intruders.

Only a few slipped away, but he would be sure to capture them again if they stepped a leg into his territory.
